basketboobs

Kitties love to rest on my chest. That's right: cats. Babies too are perfectly at home when relaxing on my huge boobs. If only I could find that kind of appreciation and comfort on the basketball court or softball field...
I'm a jock. And not only do I have to deal with stupid boys making comments all the time, but dressing for each sport I play takes more effort than flat-chested girls could ever imagine.

In high school, it was a constant struggle between support and comfort. Depending on the sport, I would either wear two sports bras (lots of running in basketball) or the special combo of a sports bra over a regular bra (I liked to breathe a little for tennis and softball).

I remember racing to be the first one to pick a uniform at the beginning of the year to make sure I got the one XL shirt (which, over the years, had shrunk down to about a medium). I would run home and start the stretching process right away, sitting in front of the TV for hours with my knees up to my chest and the shirt pulled over them, each knee struggling to make room for a boob.

It wasn't until senior year that I discovered the ultimate stretching tool: a ladder! I'd slide my wet uniform shirt over an open ladder and adjust the shelf that holds the paint can until it jutted out magically at boob level.

I don't play sports as much anymore. But on the days when I do play tennis or run to catch a cab and pivot around a Mack truck, I am reminded that any extra strapping or stretching is always worth the trouble. You do what you gotta do to win!
