"Lauren and I [Lauren C.] have known each other for ever. We also went to school with Kristen. We were always big fans of music but never really thought to start our own band. We were hanging out at a club in Los Angeles when we met the writer of a rock gossip column."
"We were kind of joking with him. We were like, 'You should write about us. Put us in your gossip column,' and he was like, 'I can't. You're not in a band.' And Lauren--out of nowhere--goes, 'Yeah we are.' And he said, 'Oh really. What's your band called?' And she said, 'Rocket!' Like completely made it up out of nowhere. I mean literally, I had a guitar but I don't think I'd ever played it."
