poetry about love
seasons
i remember
winter
you said that you
loved to watch lights
shimmering on water,
and i agreed,
silently as we sat
on frosted steps
i remember
spring
april showers where
the heavens seemed
to fall around us
we sat outside
huddled close,
soaked to the bone
i remember
summer
roasting marshmallows
around a campfire
we wished on
shooting stars, and
every kiss
felt like the first
i remember
fall
walking home among
fallen leaves, i
heard a bird song
and turned to tell
you, before i
remembered you were gone
