poetry about love
unexpectedly
unexpectedly today i
fell (falling, will fall) in
love
steeply, abruptly, ungainly
unduly, with
a bicycle
with a basket
with a girl with a
bell and a green coat,
dreadlocks flying out behind
she swerved on the snowy
gravel road (abruptly, ungainly)
smiling happily, if
uncertainly, rattling away--
flash of crome, grocery bag, brown paper, apples--going home.
