I think shaving is totally up to you.
It's a free country and people can't judge you if you're hairy or bald! Trimming is good hygiene in my opinion. Hoped I helped a few people. --Posted by kaylaq 12:09AM EST 08/04/05

Doesn't matter.
Some people do and some people don't. It's not like it's a you will or won't situation, either. You can a little or a lot, or don't have to at all. Really, it doesn't matter. If a guy doesn't like it then it doesn't even matter because you're you, they have to accept you or not. If they don't, oh well, it's not like it's a loss. I don't shave the hair all the way off, but when I wear a bikinni it's not like I want some things to be seen, even though I have no bathing suits that would show that. I guess it's just what makes you comfortable, because it doesn't matter what they want, or like. It matters what YOU want, what YOU like. It's all you--do what you want :D
Hope I helped! --Posted by dontbeasquare00 10:31PM EST 08/02/05

Honestly...
I'm on both sides of this situation because on one hand shaving seems like a good thing if you're going to hook up with someone because it's just smoother but it can be annoying to make sure you shave all the time. I figure that if a guy has a problem with hair down there, they aren't mature enough to handle it. If you do shave, don't do it for a guy, do it for yourself. If you like the look/feel whatever and dont mind the upkeep sure go ahead, shave. If you think it's not right for you then don't do it. I don't shave all the hair completely off but I do keep things groomed down there. It works well for me. I still feel womanly and not like a 5 year old girl but I'm not afraid of wearing a bathing suit and looking like a hairy beast. Lol. I hope I helped some. --Posted by opinklipso 12:29AM EST 08/02/05
