LISTEN!!!! That is it, I just answered your question. You are her friend and that is what you do, you listen. And yeah that may be her main topic for a while but hey that is how some girls are. Be her friend. --Posted by SAS03 10:31AM EST 03/30/04

Wow I never really noticed that as a problem before and maybe I need to stop doing that cause that's all I do too with my b/f. So if it bothers you maybe you should tell the person that it kinda gets annoying. Otherwise we won't really notice, cause we're too caught up in the thrill of it all. Hope I helped you a bit cause you helped me. --Posted by violet_711 10:31AM EST 03/30/04

I have been in almost the same situation you are in, except I am the person who has the boyfriend! My friends and I got and still get into fights about him, but you have to think about how your friend feels. Now that my friends have their b/f's they know how I feel and they talk about them all the time. So try to put yourself in her position and try to talk to her about it!! --Posted by babygurl6202000 10:31AM EST 03/30/04

Truth. Talk nicely and calmly and make sure she knows that you aren't mad at her too. If you guys have a good friendship then you'll be fine. However you choose to handle it...good luck!!! --Posted by mynameisholly 10:31AM EST 03/30/04

We all know the new boyfriend feeling, where we find someone and he seems like everything to us...your best friend is just going through that right now! But if she's being a conversation hog, tell her you're really happy for her and bring up something else. After a while she should move on to the new conversation. --Posted by silvercarnation 10:31AM EST 03/30/04
