Everyday after school I need to walk by this car wash/garage to get to the train station. There are men who work there who are much older than me, and they always whistle and make comments whenever I walk by. What can I do to stop them?

Try ignoring it, maybe they will stop. If you've tried that already, tell a parent or trusted adult. Tell them that when they harass you like that, you feel uncomfortable.

Is there any other way you can walk? If not, don't say anything to them. It could just make things worse. Just walk by and ignore them. If it continues, you really should tell an adult that you trust about it.

Your best choice would to bring a friend along to witness the harassment and find a manager, and get the scumbags warned or even better--FIRED!

A little while ago a lady came to my school and talked about how to stop things like that from happening and she said that you should just turn and give them a real stern I-don't-like-that look and say something like, "Stop it, I don't like how you're treating me."

Girl, that is sexual harassment! This has to stop!! Try taking the bus home, get a ride with a friend or walk by in a large group. Tell your parents if none of that works. There is NO reason for you to put up with that sort of stuff!
