NOt to far away from home
Ive been up and down the jersey cost and I have to say the border beaches are the absolute best ! there one beach up near NYC and its absoultely gorgous!!!! White sand beach a few big rocks hear and there barely any people and you can see NYC right from the beach! and some of the beaches down near delaware are really nice to I also reccoment Stome harbor,Avalon, and Atlantic City Becuase there is so much to do.

Jersey-born parents
Both my parents are from Jersey and every summer we go visit family and go to the shore. My mom's family is the closest to the shore and I love going with my cousins! If effn' rocks!!!

jealous.
Honestly, I think those that dis it, are probably jealous, I mean come on, u don't see any other states shore line or beach on this dig or dis! just because not all of the water is clear doesn't mean it's dirty. I went to a camp at the MAST high school(one of the best high schools in NJ) for a week to learn our water is healthier than those down south. Next to Cali and NY, NJ is one of the most expensive states to live in! You know why!? Cuase of the Jersey Shore BABY!

<3 jersey
i hate when people automatically think that jersey is tacky and gross...theyre just stereotyping.. not everyone that goes to the jersey shore is the same..depending on where you go the beaches are really nice..its the touristy places that are kind of polluted but its like that anywhere. anyway im from the jersey shore and i absolutely love it there! it really ticks me off when people talk bad about new jersey..we never talk bad about other places so why should they do it to us? its people like that that give jersey a bad rep...jersey is the best..i dont care what people say <333

okay, i'll admit that new jersey isn't the cleanest or most beautiful state. some of the beaches here aren't that great, but others are really beautiful. not all of the beaches are lines with boardwalks and crappy shops. some of them are pretty nice. i'd have to say my favorite beach is brigantine; my grandmother used to rent a hotel suite every year and my family would come down and stay in the suite for a few days. the beach wasn't too big or too small and my family and i ALWAYS had fun.

Hey, plz_do_me_ducky
"isnt it like new yorker's sad excuse for a beach??? LMAO ya'll SUCK!!!! A: JERSEY shore...I guess that would mean that it's in New JERSEY. B: Sorry, we only have plain ol' historical beaches like Coney Island Beach, Jones Beach (where many celebrities come to perform) and let's not forget our beautiful beaches in the Hamptons! C: At least we don't have to worry about our beaches being washed out to shore (sorry, couldn't resist that one).

Hey, Vonbitch420
"its because you can never be wut us jersey girls are" What, terrible spellers?? Christ, you even spelled New JERSEY wrong!! "if you hete it"!! Hmmm...hete, is that a synonym for HATE?? New York bitches all the way!!!!!!!

Dirty Jersey
Yea jersey girl, i have watched the sun rise over the polluted waters of the cancer state, being a philly girl we always went "down the shore" growing up. But once you go somewere else, the dirty jersey beaches are not so appealing. But nice memories for me.
--Posted by iikraftwerkii

Ew...
Its pretty gross. Brown water, crappy sand, jellyfish. I've been spoiled though because I have a house in Maine and the beaches in Ogunquit are flippping amazing.
--Posted by rock4ever25

i'm from north jersey and the jersey shore doesnt exactly excite me.. nothing specail about it really.. i find it boring.. id rather go somewhere else .. nicer.. ya know?
--Posted by ali1986

NO!
I live in Jersey, and I hate the beach. But then again, i hate beaches, period. Unless it's at a well-forested lake. The boardwalk, however, Ilove!
