Nicknames are not mean, its what your friends call you! I had no choice in mine though,it just flows with my name. So if ya dig it just call me JoJo.

your friends give you the nickname instead of you making it up and tellin ur friends to call ya that like my name is nhung but most people cant pronouce it so they just call me noon or loony noony, and alot of other nickname but sometimes it get kinda of annoying

My name is really...shall we was, "unique"? Yeah. That. Anyway, I don't mind being called something short as long as the person isn't trying to pull a Maya Angelou on me and change my name to something far-off and ridiculous. My name may be hard to pronounced, but I love it.

I luv my nicknames!
I've always liked my nicknames (except one that my guy friends made up as a joke). This is what people call me mom=baby or leiloni, uncle steve=sweet pea, dad=suger, best friends=kim and kimmy, friend at my new school=P.Nutz, and my boyfriend (Dylan) calls me his baby girl even his friends do just to get him jelous.

i think nicknames are ok! thats only if they havent been picked by you of course. if someone else calls you by a non - offensive nickname then i think its quite flattering and sweet. my friends have got a nickname for me (totally unrelated to my name) and im chuffed they took the time to think about 1!

My boybud calls me barney hehe...cause people call my bro bernie(bernard)and now he calls me that...i tought it was kinda cute....some call's me AC..or my friend calls me Annie..hehe...It actually suits me cause my name is Ann Bernadette C...sometimes it gets confusing cause my friends are called TJ, RJ, VG....they kinda all have two letters nickname...lol it's sometimes hard to remember what their real names actually were...hehe

Ok nicknames are like totally awesome! My name is Ashley but I love Punk so my friends call me Punk Princess. I call my friend Army Brat. My other friends name is Carrianna and I call her carebear. My friend Lynn is Cute Angel and my friend Renay is Twig! It describes our personalites! DUH!

like if your name is something like allison and everyone calls you ally. or like, this kid, alahondro, i thought his name was alfonso, so we call him fonzie, that's ok, but i don't get it when somebody's name is like "jessica" and you get something like "Lucky" or something stupid like that, then it's dumb and why waste your time?

I think that nick names are bad because sometimes children give other children mean nick names and then that child has to go through his life being taunted with that nickname for ever.sometimes nicknames like that can hurt a child for ever in that case it is real bad. Then there is the nickname that is giving to you by your parents and friens that is not harmful. so yeah nicknames could sometimes be bad.....

It is not UR real name and most of the time it is a mean name... I think even if U do have a nickname, U should at least B able 2 pick it... just a word of advice, my cuz Erinn (12 years old) picked her nickname 2 B Airbear (how gay, I know) and every1 makes fun of her.

I had the nickname Tiny-Tim and I loved it but when ppl started getting even wearder names for me besides Tiny-Tim I didn't want to see ppl that new my new nickname! It was so wrong and I haven't even done anything to get these new nicknames!

God! I hate them! My friends and even people I don't know think its hilarious to call me whatever comes first to thier immature heads! They'll call me like, harriett or Theodora even though thats NOT MY NAME. I don't think anyone knows my real name. GAH.
