Best Movie
So I love Batman and The Joker to begin with. I'm kind of a freak that way but this movie mad me love everything so much more. My mom went into the movie theatre not expecting to like it and now she loves it. It's such a shame Heath Ledger died, he was a fantastic actor and deserves an oscar. Anyone disses this, they are crazy.

is one of the most fantastic actors I've ever seen. I mean it too. I've seen alot of his movies and he can pretty much play any role. He's great.

Seriously, this movie is one of the most badass movies I've seen in a while!! I mean, Ledger as the Joker, maaaaan. It made me forget that it was him he did it so well. He made that part so believable. And Two-Face?? Kickass!! How can you not like his transformation from Denton to that?? Perfection is what this movie is. The only thing I didn't like is Bale's accent when he's Batman. It irritated me, but besides that, the movie is perfect.

I thought the movie was fantastic. Heath made the movie for me. He was soooo good :) He is a fantastic actor. Im sure anyone who has seen this movie will agree.

Why . . . So . . . SERIOUS?
I absolutely loved it. The action, the storyline, the message. It was the easily the best movie I've seen all year. Heath as The Joker . . . I doubt there are words to describe how amazingly twisted he was. It made me sad knowing that he wouldn't be able to be The Joker again, if there were a sequel.

i never understood this obseesion with superheros
i never really got the point in superheros - i mean all it is acouple of people - one good - one bad fightin eadchother till the good guy rips the bad guys mask off and find out its his best friend in most cases - i just find it boring

heath ledger wasnt the only amazing actor in this movie
i dis but ONLY because everyone is overly obsessed with heath ledger. yes, he was one of my favorite actors and its sad that he died, but christian bale and maggie gyllenhal etc were amazing too. heather ledger was great but remember the movie is called The Dark Knight not The Joker. it almost seems that everyone loved because it has a hot actor in it that sadly died

You get pretty sick of it pretty quickly when you have to run around and get food for hundreds of people in one night.

Well, Heath Leger was brilliant, but Christian Bale was a terribly weak character. The movie was difficult for me to follow, and it seemed like there wasn't much of a plot.

yeah, its a great movie, well-made, but I think the hype comes from Ledger's passing. The large fan base is most likely because of the controversy over just how he died. Did he kill himself on purpose/was it an accident? just to clear some things up; he was an insomniac. the medication he was on wasn't working, he mixed a few that shouldn't have been mixed.
