I don't see why it's supposed to be a traditional Irish dish, because it isn't. Seriously it's as Chinese as it is Irish! The only way that it is associated with the Irish is because many Irish people worked on the railroads here in America, and corned beef and cabbage was cheap and shipped well, so they would be served it with beer. And many Chinese people were served it as well, because many Chinese people also worked on the railroads, so I don't get why it's so Irish, because the Chinese workers ate it too! --Posted by broadwaybohemia
