Obviously They Suck
But lets face it, our parents do know best most of the time, and so curfews, as much as we hate to have them now, I know when I'm a parent I'll be giving my kids curfews, and I'm sure most of you will also.

*sighs* sometimes its a pain, but at least my parents have let me go out in the first place! and as time continues, the curfew will extend. So in the end, its all good :)

Most curfews are reasonable. They are there to keep kids from misbehaving. Sometimes, they can be set so early that they are ridiculous.

It means someone cares.
Once me and my friend were talking and she was saying how she doesn't have a curfew and sometimes she comes home at like 3 in the morning and makes noice, just hoping maybe her parents will NOTICE that she's been out late. And they don't. She said, "It's like they don't give a f*** about me at all! I almost wish they would give me some rules, cuz then I'd know that someone at least cares what happens to me! They just let me do whatever I want and forget me and go on living their own lives."
So after hearing her say that, as much as i HATE rules and curfews (they're a pain in the ass), I'm just so glad that my parents love me enough to want to keep me safe.

I think that your parents are looking after you. Yes ok they can sometimes get carried away but they care about you an in this world when 1 in 4 girls a raped (1 in 7 boys) 1 in 4 girls get knocked up and 1 in 5 people will become addicted to some kind of drug I would think that having a curfew would make you feel better knowing that your parents aren't feeding you to the dogs

okay now curfews sucks ass but we need them becuz thats what keeps alot of kids off of the streets and there are a vast number of kids who wouldnt bring their ass home if they had a curfew. Now me personally i would come home even if i didnt have one cuz there is no reason for me 2 stay out all night long. and besides my curfew is at 12 midnight and thats good enuff for me.

They care
even though i don't quite understand parents ( mine especially) i know they do things for a reason. they give us curfews because they care about us and love us. it might not seem that way now but when you have your own children you'll understand, so i dig curfews only if reasonable.

i feel like i'm the only 18 year old with a curfew. my parents are reasonable about it tho. they've established that after i graduate i will no longer have a curfew, that is if i can be home on time until graduation, only a couple months left, and i'm FREEEEEEEE!

They're there to help I know so thats good because theres a lot of creeps out at night and all you know?But my parents cerfew is like 6 pm -.- I hate it thats why i chose dis it I'm old enough i think i can stay out later than 6 -.- Some parents are fair about cerfew lucky those kids.

I HATE IT
I know my moms sets my curfew for a reason but im 17 and 18 this year and i have to be home at 1 when everything gets cackin and that sucks i am a responable person and i dont do anything bad.

Yes I know that it can be a sign that your parents/whoever takes care of you, care when they put you on one, but even if they didn't and let you run around however you wanted doesn't mean that they don't care. I get ut on punishment from a lot of things if I break curfew (even though I don't really have one)so yea I don't like them. And shouldn't adults consider that you are just trying to have fun like they probably did when they were our age?

it makes me feel like a five year old. i cant even go to alot of places so curfews suck. my parents always make my curfew early in the summer. its not fair!TWO MOTHA F***IN THUMBS DOWN!

ok i hate curfews!!!!!! no matter wat the situation!!!!!! i know your parents are love you and care for you and thats why you have them but they should know if your responsible or not and if you would come home at a decent time and as long as they know where you are and who your with its all good

Curfews
Curfews aren't necessary to me. We should be able to stay out as long as we want. Our parents know they used to stay out late when they were our age, so why can't we.

I think you should be able to stay out as late as you want to! But sometime there should be a limit on how long you are gone.
