it depends the flavor! if u have bad breath and u chew the smelliest gum and u chew loud.. dont!! my mom loves gum but im not crazi bout it!

I love gum!!!!!!!!!!Im always chewing it.I get in trouble for chewing it and I have to spit it out but I always get a peice.I go through like half a pack a day.If I run out before the day is over I freak!!!!I always have to have a peice.

Chewing gum is so rude and disgusting. Especially if you chew with your mouth open, which most males do. Girls will automatically think you're a slob.
If you chew fruit kind, it will smell gross and unnatural. The mint kind is even worst because it's like smoking, everyone around you can smell it and it smells like gross chemical-mint, and tooth GUNK.
I hate the smell of mint alone. Well maybe I'm just weird but it smells dirty :/ and shitty.

i hate the sound it makes

i used to be addicted to gum, but now i only chew it when very necessary (like if there's a hot guy and i just ate onion rings, etc.). i find it either gives me a stomache or headache, and i prefer not to ache , so i just avoid it.
