DDR is so much fun. I do real dance and DDR and I find DDR to be better. Then I don't have anyone yelling at me if I mess up. Besides, it's a great way to exercise if you don't have a lot of space. That and it can attract a lot of attention. I easily get a lot of the girls in my dorm to stop and watch my friends and me jump around.

Most Addicting Game i've ever Played!
I love DDR! it is soo fun, even though i got it last year, i heard about it years ago. i was addicted on my first try, and got like 8 other ppl addicted too. Yeah, it's not reall dancing, but either way, it's still fun, with good music, and it's not a violent game. I have Dance Dance Revolution, Dance Dance Revolution Konamix, DDr, DDR Max, DDR MAX2, DDR Extreme, DDR Extreme2, DDr Ultramix 2, In The Groove, Step Mania, and some T.V. plug in dance mat thing. After the first hour, your sweating like mad, so imagine all those calories u just burned off, besides, i'm sure it's way easier than going to some gym to work out.

DDR is one of the only video games i'm good at and it's my absolute favorite. it's a great workout and when you get good you can go show off or challenge people at the arcades. you also meet really cool people. i know that others think that we kids who play DDR are weird or nerdy, but you would be surprised at who plays. and those who don't...shouldn't diss it before they try it, it's really fun and surprisingly addicting

How does one NOT like DDR?! It makes me feel good about myself, actually. I play on heavy and it feels kinda cool when people are like, "OMG I CAN'T SEE YOUR FEET. YOU'RE SO GOOD." Yeah. It's really fun and good excirsize. My school has DDR competitions all the time, we play it in the cafeteria and we use a projector so screen is like the size of the entire wall. Everyone loves it!

So last semmester
It was like a fashion statment : dissed and hated and loved and raved for about a whole year, then it's popularity went down. I don't see it being real hot again anytime soon since alla this NeW video game stuff has come out. I have to admit that i loved it at one point, but now i'm ashamed to be seen gettin my jump on and payin $1 for it on one of those silly machines.

Annoying
My friend is obsessed with it, and I have many good reasons of why I really don't and shouldn't like it. When I go to the mall with all my friends, that's all he wants to play, and sadly enough, that's all he has pride in. When he asks us to watch a tournament he enters, we cheer him on, but he acts as if me and my other friends don't even exists, and is always too busy talking to the other DDR fanatics. He never wants to try anything new, but I guess I can't hold that really against the game, since most of these acts come from his background. But to the real facts why I don't like it, one is that all the people who play it are just downright rude and stuck-up. I'm not saying everyone is, but for those who are, all they do is roll their eyes and laugh at people who are new at it. Plus, it's not real dancing, it's just a play of motor skills where the machine tell you where to step and you react. It's nothing like real dancing that's alot more fun to learn, have something to show other's what you've learned, and is actually worth the money. Whew, sorry, just had to get all of that out, but's that's what I really think about it, nya.

i've never played ddr bcuz well, i'm a mall rat and whenever i go to the mall and go past the arcade, there are always these punk/goth/stare-at-you-wh en-u-walk-by ppl playing and i realized that even if i wanted to try and play it, i wouldnt be able to bcuz they would probably kill me.

i guess its an in between kinda thing. im sure its fun i actually never played it but it kinda pissed me off cuz we were doing dancing in gym(old dancing lol) and my friend said we should do DDR instead its better and i wuz thinking HELLO ITS NOT REAL DANCING,WE SHOULD BE DOING BALLET OR JAZZ OR SUMTHING. yah that game might be fun but nothing is better then actually doing real dance like ballet,jazz,tap,highland stuff like that
