it rocks the coolest like ice sport ever, i just wish i had better balance, most of the time the only reason ppl hate it is cuz they either don't have balance or just plain arn't good at it im not that good but still have plenty of fun trying!

I luv ice skating
I dont kno wat i would do wit out ice skating. Partly because i play hockey as a goalie o a boys team but anyways I think skating is the best thing to do for fun. It is so fun to think back on how slow u were when u were little because u improve so much. I like it when i am faster then somebody like my little sister or someone older than me. I am a lot slower since i am a goalie but ice skating is the best thing u can do during the winter

Skating rox!
I myself am a figure skater, and I LOVE it. It's so cool to land a jump that you've been working on, and when you step onto the ice and skate a clean program, it's like all the falling was worth it. Skating's amazing, I don't kno how anyone could hate it!

SO EASY!
I don't get how ice- skating is difficult.. to me its the easiest thing in the world..
I am Canadian so I grew up with it anyway.. to canadians.. its just like a thing that everyone can do, its just part of the culture and its somthing that everyone grows up with.. I think every canadian remembers their first pair of skates....
I also love how americans say "ice skating" and "ice hockey" eveytime I hear that I cannot stop laughing.. I seriously laugh my ass off coz we dont say that.. skating means.. well it just means skating on ice.. what other kind of skating is there?.. its just like such a HUGE part of our culture here.. like all canadian boys play hockey.. its natural.
I love it, its fun.. and I love ice, and snow and cold.. there is NOTHING in the world like getting ur hat boots mittens scarf and heavy coat on, going out in FREEZING like -35 degree celcius weather, and going skating.. then drinking a hot chocolate by the fire.. its amazing.

I figure skated for three years and I used to love the feeling. How I could be boiling hot but it wouldn't matter because the icy air would cool me down. And who wouldn't love flying across the ice? That's assuming you're on your skates and not you bum :D

im sorry partayhard2010 but i completely disagree with u. i do gymnastics to and i love ice skating just the same. mayb u just say ice skating is for fags bc u cant skate. it is actually a very hard sport..along with hockey.. and i dont think sydney crosby, scott stevens, wayne gretzky, or any other hockey player (or figure skater) is a fag.

scared to bust my ass on ice!
i went skatin before and feel. it hurt when you fall on ice. im too scared to go back on one again. im to scared to do any tricks on any wheels or skates.ill stick with just normal skatin- no tricks.

I play hockey and I am one of the best skaters on my team. I can't do all those spins in the air and all the little wonderful things but I can skate. To me ice skating isn't horrible but still I am not too keen. I hate the skates. I can't skate in figure skates. It's too hard and I go soo slow and normally hockey players don't go slow. The only reason I go slow is because I am too freaking afraid of tripping on the picks so yah.
