at first i didnt really like baseball till i became a pitcher. it really keeps me amuzed, cause you want them to get striked out. so i guess baseball is really fun:D

I dont play any form of the sport any more BUt i literlay grew up watching and playing it (i started tee ball when i wass 3 years old) I watch my Cousin play for the Colaroado Rockies and and Great aunt played for a womens team like 30 or 40 years ago. i really like the sport and i hink it teaches paticence in some way

ok personally i think softball/baseball is the best sport in the world. and to whoever says it is a sport for lazy people. what the mess? you apparently dont know how much work it takes. i mean how can you say that the only excersise you get is running around the bases how about running in the field, the 2 miles you have to run b4 a game, running ALOT in practice. pardon me but i dont think lazy people play baseball/softball. not to mention that you are CONSTANTLY moving in the field. no matter where the ball is hit you have to move somewhere. so you need to shut up and how about you try and play that sport!
anywho i deff. dig this sport.

you dot do anything and most the ppl that play are over weight cuz you dnt have to be in shape to play. in football u need muscle and spped in chearleading u need to be thin in basketball u need to be in shape but all baseball players do is go party the nite b4 their game

Don't have what it takes to play baseball?
So i read through some of the people that love the sport, and found the, "you dont know what it takes to play the sport and go try and then see what you think." Not to hate, BUT, i played baseball for 7 years and all i have to say, is if you want to play a sport to get in shape, pick something else, like cycling. Let me compare the two. Baseball you run 2 miles before a game... okay, now take cycling. If you want to be a Pro cyclist, to have anywhere of a standing chance, you have to be able to keep your heart rate at 90% of your absolute max, for close to 4 or 5 hours non-stop during training, able to go up roads that are 15% gradient at 20+mph and sprint over 40mph.. I'm sorry, but if the only time youre in motion out on the field is the 2 seconds you get covering home plate maybe 5 times in a game, then i dont see how baseball players ARENT considered lazy. cheers (yes i'm a pro cyclist lol)

i would rather play it( if i knew how to) but whenever i watch it it bores me. i just don't like baseball. and im mad they call it " america's favorite pastime". basketball is sooo much better.

My parents made me play it in 5th grade and it was probably the worst experience I have ever had. My parents also make me watch baseball games, and the sport is just so boring. Only occasionally does something kind of exciting happen. I definetely dis it.

i HATE baseball/softball.....i think its a sport for lazy ppl. Cuz the only exersize u get is running around the bases. So it's for ppl that are lazy that think they r getting a lot of exersize. I don't even see the point in swinging a stick at a ball and running around in a square!!!! I think its pathetic!!!

I really dislike baseball. But hey, I'm sure people dislike track and soccer and other sports I like. It just depends on the person. Besides, I can't hit the ball worth crap.
