I love basketball and I have loved it for almost 8 or 9 years. I love the wnba. It don't matter how much they get paid if its some thing that you love to do then i should not matter how much you get paid. Some day I hope to make it to the wnba and when I do I know I won't care about the pay i will just know i love that game.

ok listen, if you are dedicated enuff to practice so much and put so much time into basketball that you would make it to the WNBA, then I would expect you to care a little more about the game instead of the money. The other thing is that WNBA players have a lot of pressure. They have to keep up with there sport as they get older and one injurie and they could be out forever. That not only means no more money but no more basketball, the sport they have worked at for like, ever. So before you go off and dis WNBA players because of their income, think about the fact that they might actually love the game enuff not to care.

it was originally our sport than the guys took it.but we are bringin it back.my sister plays basketball and im very proud of her.she representin!

i totally dig it i wanna be in the wnba really bad all thou i dont think ill make it that far i enjoy watching it but i might make it i got all conferance this year and i started since the 6thgrade and made the team in 5th soo u never know but i think wnba is awesome

I've been a fan of the "W" since 1998, the year after the league was created, the year my city's franchise was created. I can say it has only been a good experience. No, great. In many ways its better than the NBA. The seats are way cheaper, and you get more personal experience. I've met so many WNBA players gotten autographs and had face to face coversations with many players. Most NBA fans can not say that. Yes, there are issues such as fan attendance, not even drawing an average of 10,000 fans this year, and the payment scale, most women making aroun $65,000 compared to the men making an average of over $4 million just for stuffing a basketball through a hoop. But the WNBA has come a long way, most people said it would fold after the first year or so and it has only continued to rise. NBA president commissioner David Stern is very proud of the league as well as W president Donna Orender. It is a great league with a personal care for fans, a great experience, and the league will only continue to grow.

I love the game of basketball i didn't go out for the team at my high school this year but I do plan on for the up ans coming year. I think EA Games needs to create a WNBA Game for the female ballers.

How can you Dis the WNBA? I love the WNBA. For the people that dissed it, I guess that means you're dissing the NBA also..? Women have the same rights as men to have their own league and I think it's cool.

Basketball is the best sport in the WORLD. Is there any other sport? I played basktball for my school for three years. Then tha hurricane hit and i went to a lot of different schools and never got back on track. There was tryouts for 10th grade basketball team for next year and i know i should of tried out i regret it but i had not played in a couple of months and just goin out there, me bein a little rusty i didnt think i was gone do that well cause the team is good they were UNDEFEATED last year and ive never been on an undefeated team! i should have tried out though cause i am real good but i guess i will do somethin else....in 11th grade itz too late

The WNBA is an outlet for women to play basketball in the US. Sure, they don't get paid as much, but what they do make is an ok amount, and eventually the pay will rise. Women are just as competitive and talented as the guys, but it's a known fact that most of them aren't strong enough to have notable careers in the NBA. The WNBA is only 10 years old--after more time, they will be making as much as the guys. It's a good league and it's better morally than the NBA. All the women have college degrees and are good role models. They also do public and community work, more than the NBA. Thumbs up to the WNBA.

I <3 the WNBA... im so glad that they made a league for women. It doesnt matter that they don't get paid as much as the men, it has to do with the love of the game.I <3 basketball. its only like the greatest thing ever invented. I hope to b in the WNBA someday and hopefully by then, women will get paid more :)

i love basketball its a dream to me to be in da wnba.not because of da money because i love da sport and i wanna pay it ma whole life.its not unfair that they separate the womens and mens leagues cause guys are somewhat better.not all but some.and yes gurls are better than some guys.not all but some but men are physically stronger than some of the women.again not all but some.yea they should get paid da same amount thats fair.and their not over payed cause their good.they work just as hard as anybody else doand they happend to be very good.its some people in da world like that.some are better than others.thats just the way the world is.

im all about supporting my fellow women and all but this has gone too far! everything they do like: shoot, pass, dribble, and run is so slpooy. some of the women try to compete with the men by dunking and crap knowing damn well they don't have the hops or skills. i not saying the wnba is bad but it needs to stop or settle down or something b/c its becoming annoying on all levels. no one barely watches the games let alone the all star events

I mean i like basketball and its a good thing that women get to play it professionally now. The thing is is that theyre over payed just because theyre good. It probably takes alot of training and hard work, but i know people who are good at basketball and they arent getting payed millions of dollars. The whole system is dumb.

i love the wnba and all, i want to be in it someday, i completely love playing basketball, its my favorite thing in the world, but women get paid so much less...and they shouldn't, some of those women are better than the men in the nba.. and shouldnt the nba be the MNBA? mens national basketball association? why are the women singled out?

i play b ball all the time. someday i wish i can play in the wnba. but i don't like the fact that they get payed much less. i don't get it. just because we can't dunk it doesn't mean that we can't get paid more.

I love basket ball and I play it obsesively, but i don't think that the men and the women should be sepreate. the girls can play just as well as the guys and even better. plus, they should be payed the same ammount. just because we're girls dosn't mean we need a sepreat league
