I love golf I've been playing it since since I was 4 1/2 at age 9 I started doing the 18 holes it's not easy it's hard when it's hot because your dying when you walking so far and it gets bad if it was raining really badly and after a few days your walking and it's so damn muddy out one time my shoes got stuck it can get frustrating just like any other sport when I started doing the whole golf course and not just the driving rage I got so mad because sometimes I thought my ball was straight enough and it wasn't so then I had to find my ball and I lost it okay come on the soccer people and all those other people kind of have it easy your ball it pretty big a golf ball is teeny weeny so if I was to lose it I'd have to use another one besides you also have to have a perfect stance and you have to have that good grip and your hand might start to get really sweaty if you wear a glove and it can feel weird if your first starting out and learining to swing the proper way. I love golf you guys can say whatever you wanna say but let me inform you it is a sport just because we may not run around as much it is a sport.

Golf is an awesome sport. Also, any sport that encourages women is even better. In golf, the girls are just as good as the guys, and better!

golf is fun if your patient and stuff....have any of yall every even played golf, on a course? sure its boring to watch and all ..but when you play it, its kind of fun..its funny to see all the people get a freaking heart attack and start yelling when they hit the ball really bad.....its really fun...so try it before yall say something

you don't get any exercise out of it???? um...excuse me,, you get a lot of exercise out of it....you have to walk the ***ING COURE...which is pretty ***ing big!

I think golf is great espicially for woman!!
Do you know what golf stands for?! Gentleman Only Ladies Forbidden!!...wich is why I say Go women golfers!! And to everyone who think golf doesn't have a point...if you don't think putting a ball in a hole is not a point then basketball, soccer, hockey, or any other sports of the sort has no point either. Whether you're putting a ball in a hoop, a ball in a net, a puck in a net, and yes even a ball in a hole, it is a challenge, therfore making it a sport!

Golf is really fun if you just try it. It is you agaist you. There is nobody to screw it up at the last moment. Golf takes skill unlike most sports that have teams. Teams can carry wimps.

to those of you who say it's unathletic...
some people have medical conditions. Me, for example. Type 1 diabetes. I love active sports like swimming and stuff, but I'd have to test my bloodsugar(prick my arm with a needle) 10 or more times to stay in the sport. I'd have to chug down all this food, etc.....so golf is good for those who can't do as much physical activity. I still love to swim, but being on a team is just too much.
And get this- the richest sports player is Tiger- and he plays golf.

I used to think golf was boring and I hated it, but then I realized that I only thought that because I was no good at it. It gave me a challenge and I actually had to concentrate for once in my life. Now I am absolutly in love with it.

I am on the golf team at my high school and i am the only girl on the team. Its awesome.But i just love it! It is so fun. I get to hang out with my friends and family. I can go play any time.But i realy hate it on how some people say golf isnt a sport and it is pointless...Well golf is a sport, on my high school team we walk about 5 miles each day in the heat carrying our golf bags that have our golf clubs, golf balls, water,..etc. and that gets heavy....its not pointless to me because my golf is going to get me a schalorship for a collage. :-)

Personally I get extremely frustrated when playing. I like the high intensity sports a little more. My whole extented family is in love with it! I doesn't matter what I think tho-as long as YOU like it. :D

Golf is the most un athletic "sport." you stand in one place and hit a little ball with a club? i have played i'm pretty good and i was bored out of my mind the entire time, come on golf is the only sport that comes with a personal servant and the only thing that is stressful is the logical part of how hard and what type of iron and stuff so really its a sport like chess or poker but i think its best described as a sport but the people that play aren't athletes.

Golf is VERY boring in my opinion. I love putt-putt but not golf. I like active sports like softball and competitive cheerleading. All you do is hit a little ball in a hole. Go get your grandma to play with ya!!
