yay! we have a poodle! and she's really fat and cute. she's not a show dog, so she doesnt have that disgusting hair-do that they have to wear. she's just so fluffy and oh so sweet. yay for poodles!
i hate those ugly hair-do's that poodles for shows have. thats why people think all poodles are as ugly as that. but they're not. weee! fat animals are just so cute. oh <3

i kow one totally wicked standard poodle names blue. she rocks. they can make good pets. i not such a big fan of the toy poodles though.. too yappy.. but whatever. i love all dogs, they're just not my favourite. heh
oh and golden doodles (golden retreiver/standard poodle) ROCK OUT LOUD!

Poodles are Extremely Smart
Poodles are intellegent dogs. Not all poodles have fluffy lion cuts. Poodles are used as guide dogs for visually impaired people and as assistance dogs for those in wheelchairs. Any dog that does that is a cool dog!

I. Love. Poodles. Until the past few years, I've had poodles my entire life. I've had toy poodles, miniature poodles, and my favourite, standard poodles. My old standard, I could hide in a cornfeild (I lived in the country) and he'd come find me.

They're not all mean!!!
First of all poodles aren't ALL mean. It depends on the dog just like any other breed! My aunt has 2 toy poodles and they are very cute and not too skinny. They're actually pretty chunky and round. They're also not to mention the smartest dogs, which I know as a fact. They're really cute and precious and actually the litlle runs can run pretty fast!

well, perhaps i'm biased coz my best friend owns a tiny grey poodle, but the poor things are so stereotyped!! ex: said poodle came home from the groomers with pink bows on his ears. god.

Some are cool
Some poodles are really cute and cuddly, but I hate those ones that have pouffs (sp?) on their head and shaved legs and bows. And the ones that are dyed pink or purple or whatever.

Poodles
Personalt, poodles are not my kind of dog. I perfer giant slobbery bulldog breeds. Like boxers and mastiffs.But usually people don't like poodless because of the haircut. All the haircut means is that back in the old days when mist if the worlds dogs had a job, the poodles job was to retrieve whatever the hunter killed. if it landed in the water then the dog would have to swim. Now, if the dog did not have a haircut the hair would weigh to much and drown the dog. If it had no hair, the dog would freeze. So the hunters decided to cut off all the hair excpt for the hair on the joints and head. That way the dog won't freeze up or drown. Poodles are no longer used for hunting, but showdgs have to keep the hair cut because they have to look like the original breed standard.
