If you know how to care for a pet snake they are really gorgeous and nice to have as pets. Plus it's not like they shed or need walks like other pets.

People who think snakes are gross are idiots. Snakes are not gross they are very clean. Cleaner than humans, because they have skales insted of sweaty germ covered skin, and they never shed.
They are not mean, they kill to survive, 1 mouse every two weeks or so. And that mouse is not defenceless, it has teeth and claws. It was stupid enough to get caught. One mouse, ONE. Do you know how many cows and pigs YOU have devoured in you like time? try hundreds. How much meat you have wasted? Snakes don't waste anything, they eat bones fur and all.
They make friendly, docile pets, and rarely if ever bite humans. They are afraid of you. So grow up already, you chickens.

I have a pet snake and she is the sweetest thing ever, she just rests on your hand and soen't try to scare you or anything. People who say snakes are the devil are ignorant and full of BS.

they are just weird. they can bite and they mostly live on rats or dead mice. they are hard to care for and not that fun to play with.

Snakes don't know that they are snakes.
It's just a name we, as humans have fastened on them. Snakes don't know the meaning of the words poor, defenceless, and little. They eat to survive. Their is no other reason for their killing mice and rats.

I think that having a pet snake is totally disgusting and that they are meant to stay in the wild and out of houses. Think about when they get loose. My brother had a pet snake once and it got out and guess where "I" found it? THE BATH TUB!!! Not a fun experience.
