Hey if no one had to put the dogs asleep they wouldnt but if they r in pain i would but i wouldnt do it just to kill them ur stupid if u just want to kill them.....

But not for just any reason only if they are really sick and are going to die in misery, or if they are a threat to other people like if they bite or attack alot and its going to get you a lawsuit or een a death nobody's pets should be that aggressive towards anyone or anything.

I would do it if there was nothin 2 make them better but I wud kill sum1 for doing it 4 no reason. if they are really in lots of pain yeah but if there was anotha way 2 make them better I would say don't put them 2 sleep

if the animal is suffering, sometimes it's best to euthanize it. working at a vet's office, i have seen many animals put to sleep. be responsible though. dont just put your pet down bcause you don't feel like taking care of it anymore.

i think if the animal is really extremely suffering go ahead but doing it for when they cant be adopted is cruel...but i had my cat put down cause it he was suffering

i'm all for it. if the animal is in pain, then put it to sleep. it would just be torchor for it to live and it's in a lot of pain. and if the animal is just 2 hazardous 2 my health. u can't just let them ***ing go on like that. ain't cool.

Sometimes
Sometiems an animal is in pain and you don't want that anima lto suffer do you? I have had to put down several cats and it has made me cry each time, but they were dying and it was for the best. They're in Summerland now, resting in the lap of the goddess.
The only time I oppose it is if they just kill the animal becuase no one wants it. If you were an animal would you want to die because nobody adopted you?
Euthanization is only needed if the anima lis in pain, not if the animal is unwanted. Prevent the unwanted animals by spaying and nuetering.

okay if no on eput dogs or any animal for that matter then the animals in the kettles that are sick and are just rotting away would be stuck there in pain orr would be very bored.and even if they did not put them asleep the kettles would be over populated and no one wpuld be able to take care of millions of animals.

I think its a good idea for the sickly. I just think its silly that we are more humane to hurt/sick/dying animals than to human beings.

who would want to kill an animal?
I know if they're in pain u have to do it but i still dont dig it. if the animal is so hurt that its sufering and there is no wa yout anytime soon then u got to do it. but i still dont dig it.

It does depend on if the animal is really sick or not. If not then you are sick and need some help! If your animal is really sick or hurt then, do what you have to do.
I had a Persian kitten, about 6 months old named Angel and we had to put him down 'cause he had a horrible kidney diesese that infested his lungs with tumors and cists. It happened about four months ago and i'm still not over it.

If your put in the position where you have the choice to put an animal down or keep it alive you should think: If the animal is in pain and will suffer if you keep it alive, and the animal has no chance to get better you should probably put it down. I hate the idea of having to put an animal down.

my dog was put to sleep
my dog sparky was put to sleep because my neighbor reported him to the police w/o even notifying my mom and i first. the whole experience was awful, because sparky was my first dog and i loved him so much, no matter how out of hand his territorial behavior was getting. i do, however, realize that there are many situations in which there's no other choice but to put the animal to sleep, and in those situations, i think it's necessary (like rabies or the animal's in a lot of pain) bt my dream is to open an animal shelter where euthanasia is not used unless it's absolutely necessary. i think its wrong for animals to be killed just because no one will adopt them. there's always an alternate path.

okay, pets aren't really lovers, but you should love them. if they are suffering imensly, then maybe you should put them to sleep, but it should be emotional. if it isn't, or you put them to sleep only cause you bored with em, ya know, there is something REALLY WRONG with you. go see a doctor right away. shoo, shoo. don't come back till your better, AND I MEAN IT!!!!!!!!

i'm more towards dis because its just horrible we dont put people to sleep! i mean one time i had a hamster that was barley breathing and they put it to sleep but that was ok because she was in wxtreme pain so in very few situations its ok but otherwise it's horribe!

i think it's completely wrong to put an innocent animal to sleep. i can understand if they're really sick or if they get violent and could hurt someone, but i think it's wrong to hunt or put a homeless animal to sleep. that's killing a living being.

I hate thinking about it...
I know that sometimes it has to be done, but only when the animal is suffering beyond repair. Killing stray animals or those in shelters or situations like that is wrong. We don't kill homeless people, do we?
