i think its fine i mean whats the difference of killing it yourself to eat or going to the store? either way it has to die!! i think that if you want t o kill your own food by all means go for it i mean its controlling the population.

I might not hunt, but I think is a very acceptable sport, because if you didn't kill deer or any other animal then they would totally overpopulate certain regions and we would end up with more animals than humans.

I think that it is totally fine. I grew up in the country and we go hunting all the time. We compete(my brothers and I) on who gets the biggest one. But we eat it also and give some to people who cant afford it.

hunting is not about going out in the woods and shooting everything that moves. REAL hunters care about their game, and many wildlife protection assosciations are run my hunters. we only take what we need and use the whole thing.
also, because there have been lots of natural predators being killed off, animals like rabits and deer are breeding like crazy and because nothings stopping them, they keep on multiplying. we need to keep thses populations under control or the whole ecologycal balance is going to be disturbed.

to hunt any animal, you need a hunting lisence, and you need extra certification for certain animals like deer, turkey and lots of other animals. there are also certain seasons for each animal, and shooting too many, or shooting out of season is illegal. (its poaching & poaching is BAAAAAD!)
hunting helps keep rapidly growing populations under colntol, and the whole natual balance in check.

I think hunting is fine as long as you are using what ever you kill in some productive way, killing an animal just to kill it is wrong.

If people didn't hunt all the animals would over populate us so unless you want to be hitting the animals with cars and paying damages then that's fine with me but i hunt so i like to its fun and it keeps the population down so that the animals we hunt tdont over populate us.

Hunting is a good way to keep the deer population down. When you don't kill some of them, the deer starve and run out of territory, so they come into the cities and eat garbage and cause problems, like car accidents. They're going to die anyway, so you might as well take a few while you're at it.

half the deer killed are never eaten. They are skinned and left to rot. It makes me sick this gross fat bums thinking they are so cool for killing a defenceless deer with a high powered riffle. It's so wrong. I think boe hunting is somewhat acceptable, IF you eat it and use the skin. But on the whole it's gross and evil...

there is only one circumstance i can tolerate hunting...is if a family cant afford food and need it to survive...for sport, thats just disgusting. who has the right to take away life? why dont wwe just let convicted murderers loose? whats the difference? they took life, hunters take life...oh just because its an animal doesnt mean that it doesnt feel pain, fear, love.... its too cruel and inhuman for me

Unbelievably Disgusting
I can't believe people find murdering other living things, aside from their own species, a "sport". And what else is so freaken unbelievable is that some of these people reason that it is "just for fun". And I can't believe how ignorant someone is when they said that hunting controls overpopulation of animals. What a laugh. Before man has thrown the balance of nature, overpopulation was not a problem. Actually, not much was a problem before we started destroying nature. Humans will be the reason of the end of this world.
PS: Hunters don't always hunt for food. Do your research.

Like said before, Hunting is a cruel and useless thing, it's murder. I think that maybe it would be okay, if it were for a means to survive. But trophy hunting is so horrible. I am very sure you wouldn't want to be hunted down and killed just to be shown off in someone's living room....disgusting.

I think killing animals for fun is horrible and cruel, if u were starving 2 death, ya thats a different story but just 4 fun, ugh, that is jus hateful & it makes me mad and upset to see those hunting shows on tv and watching people jus shoot those poor animals as if nuthin, how can people make a livin on sumthin sooo cruel?
