It's cool to see your friends again. And for those who are freshmen, it's even cooler to get to meet new people from different backgrounds or lifestyles or with different opinions. It's a world you would love to be, only if you actually work for it.

i loooveee the first day of school, i love seeing all of my friends again+seeing who is in all my classes. but the rest of the year pretty much sucks until the last day of school. Also, the teachers are really easy the first few weeks cause you're just getting into routine again. i can't wait to go back for that one day.

I LOVE THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL! Not only because I get to see my friends...getting back into the work habbit and meeting all of your teachers. I am getting so bored with summer, I'm really excited!

2day was my first day of senior year and it felt great...I felt like just yesterday I was a freshman...I met all my friends...teachers talking about all dese college stuff...kewl....dats for senior yr...I'll totally dis da other years

Exciting. ^^ I'll admit, it did suck for me on my first day of grade 7. I get confused easily, and I was real depressed back then, so people made fun of me a lot. But Grade 9 is going to be great, I know it. ^^

I love school, however....
The only reason I am dissing it is because of the fact that you have to work so hardly to muster up a great first impression for all of your teachers, even if you are an excellent student.
If you mess up, or are in a new building and can't find your classroom and are late, the teacher will think you're a slacker until you can prove yourself intelligent.
And then comes the issue of people. They change over the summer. The people who were your not-so-close friends last school year will probably not want to hang out with you anymore.

Oh joy...
The start to another year where I will spend my week in a place I hate preparing for a meaningles future. I am learning nothing useful. I don't think I've learned anything useful since elemetary school. All I'm doing now is jumping through hoops and wasting the so called best years of my life. I get to spend countless hours with incompetent teachers who dole out homework like it's going out of style and who assign meaningless busy work whenever they don't feel like coming up with something real to do. School is a joke. Why do I need to know how to figure out long complicated algebra problems if I have no plans to pursue a career involving math. Will it make me a better person if I know who did what in what year and what country? Teach me something useful or stop wasting my time.

Tis horrible. Im stuck with the same losers following me cause they dont realise how much i hate them. And im still known as "the silent one" by everyone and the same people are making the same jokes and buggin me. SO when i finally do say something they are all like "OMG SHE TALKED! I didnt know she could do that" and so on.

I don't even learn anything in school. My friends have all gone to another school, the works sucks...I don't even know why the f*ck I went today. It sucked. REALLY REALLY F*CKING SUCKED!
