its amazing
if your school is big on school spirit it is soooo much fun. my school has the most school spirit in our whole league(for sports). at football games, away or home, we always have the biggest student section in the bleachers. I hear what other shcools say and they think its real cool that we all get pepped up and spirited in goofy outfits in our school colors. having lots of school spirit makes your school a close-knit place to be and you always feel comfortable and part of the crowd. its amazing...just like i said before.

it varies...
when i'm just walking through the halls and whatnot, no, i don't have lots of school spirit. who does? that's so weird. but when you're in a club or team or something and you have your school against another school, it pumps up. suddenly you want to win, and you want your school to win, because it's part of who you are, and you're part of it.

schoolspirits fun as long as u dont go around looking like a slutty cheerleader.like every game i put red white and blue( r school colors) in my hair and wear this shirt i made that has all the footballs names on it!its fun as long as u dont take it 2 far!

My school sucks. I absolutely HATE it. But if you like your school and want to show spirit for it, thats great. I just don't like to.

I have soo much school spirit. As much as kids say they don't like schools, your going to have to go anyways no matter how much you like it. So why not have school spirit & if you don't like the school that you go to then don't let it drag you down. There are you going to be a lot of things in life that you don't like. School Spirit^^^.

well i cheerlead so if you mean by cheerleading... then yeah it rocks. also if you mean like jackets and stuff like that i think its cool. i have a school jacket and i wear it all the time!

Where I go to school, I could be described as an outcast. And my friends are called gothic 'cause they like the color black. So no, I have a limited school spirit.

I have a crappy football team and its so funny because the school has so much spirit for it and teachers get mad if we don't watch the pep rallys in the morning instead of sitting and talking. I'm guessing if your football team is good and you have no life school spirit is okay just too much of it gets so annoying.

School spirit irks me.
School spirit can be described as girls sitting on the floor in the hallway all happy-go-lucky painting on this big sheet of paper 'Go Team! Go Team!'. It makes me think of mindless cheerleaders (note: not all cheerleaders are mindless, just some of them) which are preppy and happy-go-lucky, also. Who loves their school that much? Who has THAT much pride in their school? Not me. Or anyone else in my school for that matter.

I don't have much...no, not any school spirit at all. To me it makes no sense, knowing that all I do at that place is go into some sh!tty classroom, be bitched at by a 875 year old lady who smells bad, be handed out useless work, be ridiculed by everyone around me, walk down the hall with all eyes on you and a case of paranoia, then do that repeatly all 8 hours of the day? And then go to some pep rally with all these peppy, overjoyed, caffienated cheerleaders, and they're brain dead, jocky boyfriends,watch other people have fun while you just sit on those hard bleachers...doing absolutely nothing but sitting there. Blah, doesn't sound fun to me.

Give Me One Good Reason...
Half of us cant stand waking up early taking the bus to that crazy shack and sitting in boring classes for hours at a time.Why should i have to show pride in something that i wish never existed.Most of us are gonna end up flipping burgers anyway.I mean hey if i get a teacher who honestly wants to be there and actually teaches me something instead of the same old bull they re teach each year then yeah of course im gonna do my work and do good in school but for right now all my teachers are just some old lady's that teach straight from the book and make me want to fall asleep rather then participate.

Too young for me
School spirit's more for elementary school, where things like Pyjama Day and Bubblegum Day are fun, because it's like "Yay, we get to wear pj's to school!" But now that I'm in high school, the school STILL has spirit days and so now it's like "'Wacky Hair Day'??? Screw that...". As for school spirit for team games...? That's just sad. It's a friggin football, people.
