Very liberal uniforms
I would like to have uniforms where you had, like, a top and skirtor pants that you could wear, and then you could wear different socks and jewelry and hair things. That way, you would'nt have to worry about what to wear in the morning. It's also less expensive. I know that some people want to express their individuality, but it really does make things easier.

a lot of people are wary of school uniforms because they feel it takes away their self-expression. even though my school is totally strict with acessories and having PERFECT uniform, i'd still rather have a uniform than wear civvies everyday. it's just a lot less trouble in the morning!

They're alright.
Sure, they can be ugly at times, but at least you don't have to worry about what to wear to school the next day.

better than dress code
i rather have uniforms b/c having dress code in my school is to darn complicated. uniform is much easier b/c u kno not what to wear but if u come to school in dress code a teacher will stop u n say somethin dumb like ya earrings r too big

Good Idea
The people at my school put people down because of how they dress, and I think with uniforms you wouldn't have to deal with any of that.

on non skl uniform day ppl always judge ppl if they're wearing designer clothes or not which is a bit shallow

i like uniforms becuz i dont gotta spend time tryna figure out what imma wear 2 school, and the uniforms i gottta wear aint nerdy so i dont have a problem

Why Not???
Uniforms really wouldn't be that bad. Who cares if you are wearing the same thing as someone else. And it doesn't stop individuality. You can be different if you really wanted to. Do your hair differently, wear a colored belt, or something. As long as your school isn't one of those "ohhh we are gonna make them wear uniforms where they can't add to them" schools. I don't really think it would be too horrible because you could wear what you wanted to on the weekends and during breaks.

I LIKE UNIFORMS BACAUSE IT SORT OF EQUALIZES PEOPLE LIKE I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT SOM PEOPLEZ GET DISSED FOR THE WAY THEY DRESSED SO IF EVERYBODY WORE THE SAME THING THAT PROBABLY WON'T HAPPEN (AS MUCH)

I go to a catholic school and have to wear a uniform..it really isn't that bad..
people think that girls only wear skirts and knee high socks which is bs..
we wear polo shirts and khaki pants..and we still can express ourselves within the rules..
you are allowed to dye your hair up to 5 shades darker or lighter...you can have multi colored shoelaces..pierce your ears and wear make-up..
and we do get dress down days at school

It Aint Halloween!
Well my school has to wear uniforms and thier horrible! Its like we have to wear masks and we cant express who we really are on the inside without talking to people. and Were not even allowed to wear lipgloss or nail polish. I feel like its halloween everyday and it just makes our parent spend more of thier money!

School Uniforms are a limit to what makes you, you. It takes away your unique-ness. And plus it gives you more reasons to get in ISS. And plus if the people want to wear huchy-mommy stuff then they're going to anyways. All they have to do is buy really tight shirts and really short shorts. The uniforms dont really do anything. Basically all they do is make the school using them look boring...and make some peoples butt look big! hehehe.

heeled kind of boots buffy wears & white thin socks with small black stars bordering the top???
a white/ black scrunchie & a white/black hairband & a white/black spaghetti to wear underneath??? oh, & small white beads with black stars...cute,huh?

If schools had uniforms that would pretty much destroy everyones sense of indivduality they have. Personallly I love they way i dress for school and i would hate going to school knowing that everyone else would be wearing the exact same thing.

As I am now forced into a uniform everyday, I have decided that what I originally thought would be cool is the biggest pain I have ever experienced. Being the thrif store girl that I am, I have never spent as much money on clothing before I had to buy my uniforms. For those who say they equalize everyone, you are very sorely mistaken. Everything you do have control over (from how high the hem of your skirt is to what color your tights are) is obsessed over even more than normal clothes are, and you are still judged by those few factors you can control. And especially seeing as I live where it is winter most of the school year, girls who have to wear skirts day in and day out deffinatly get sicker. It's a health risk in the winter months. Uniforms definatly suck.
