Private school is okay. Is better only because you get out of school earlier.

Even thoygh my private school teachers yell at us in class, it's all good...
It's not so bad, I just wish all the classes weren't attached to the lower grades classes.

I've gone to public school all my life, and I love it. The same problems happen, drugs, and that sort, but we have a lot smaller classes normally, and private schools are normally smaller altogether

i go to a private school.. and nobody is snobby! we r just like any other kid that goes to a public school. none of us like the uniforms either.. and we have tried many times to change it .. but the principal wont let us.. it usually costs more money for religion class.. and sometimes a better education. my friend is in the same grade as me and she goes to public school, i looked at her text books, it was the same thing we learned in 3rd and 4th grade! what we learn now is what she would learn in 8th grade. just bc we have to dress al fancy for school doesnt mean we r not cool.

Private School Rocks!!!!!!!!!
I love my private school. I go to an all girls and theres like 5 other people in my class. Theirs only 3 seniors(me and my 2 best friends), and me and my teachers are on first name basis and I know everything about them. My schools like 1 big family. It's so fun, and we reallly don't do alot of work, plus I can just leave school whenever I want!!!!!

um heloooo.. going to a private school soesnt mean dressing in plad skirts or being a goody goody or being snobby. The people who go to private schools are just the same and anyone who goes to a public school

You should get your facts straight! Not all private schools have uniforms. Most of them have a lose dress codes. Also, not all private schools are religious. I'm applying to 8 private secondary schools and not one of them is religous or has a uniform. The school's purpose is not to keep sex, drugs and violence out of a young adult's life (though on campous it is looked down upon). The reason our parents pay money for us to go to school is so we get a supirior education. America's puplic schools are horrendous! Going to a private school gives you more oppertunities. As for diveristy, yes the majority of students at a private school are white, but my dear friend Cameron, who is Black, is at one of the top prepatory schools in this country. These schools are preparing us for the real world inwhich we have to go to collage and get jobs. And, most people who typed a dis are obviously illiterate.

ok, ive gone to both public and private schools. if youd rather go to a smaller school where the teaching is more personalized, privates a good idea. less students means a lower student:teacher ratio, which allows students having trouble more personalization from the teacher. and private school kids are in no way sheltered, as alot of people wrongly think. there is still sex drugs and violence, all that stuff is in every school. and many private schools are very affordable and racially mixed. its not all snobby rich kids.

More to private school
I have attended private school since my sophmore year of high school and now i am a senoir. We don't have to wear uniforms and it has no religious affiliation. it is a high school for visual and the performing arts kind of like FAME. All private schools are not full of snobby rich people and nuns for teachers. that is like saying all public schools are full of violent gangbangers and teachers who don't care. Also not only private school is full of snobby people, because i know tons of snobs who go to public school.

Where I live, you have very few choices of where to go to school. The public schools are dangerous sometimes, and generally your child won't get a good education. There's also charter schools, which are funded by private sponsors. They're free, but they also have so many people signing up for their kids that they have to draw a lottery.
It's really important that there are Catholic and other private schools in places like this, because kids' futures and lives can be on the line. They're actually not half bad, and they teach discipline for the most part. Scholarships are also available, so if you qualify and go out for the test, you're gold. I also know of a private school that isn't parochial, and it has no uniform.
It's actually one of the only schools here without a uniform. Almost all of the schools have them, even the public schools.

ive gone to a private catholic skool all my life and im graduating this year
i love going to skool everyday with your family- its much more of a personal enviornment
granted there are still drugs and sex and booze
thats everywhere we go!!
but a private skool looks really good on any type of application
i know because i got accepted in to Wilberham and Munson academy because of my current skool

Private Scools are no better than regular schools
First off, drugs, sex, and violence can ghappen everywhere and if you think that adding a bible class, a strict dress code, and a sign in the front that says private school is gonna stop then you need help. Private schools just cost money for your child to go there. thats the only difference.

Sorry I wouldn't last a day there first of all there is uniforms I hate uniforms unless I wanna join the army or somthing I'm not wearing a uniform I wanna have choices on what I wanna wear and I choose the night before school it gives me something to do since there's nothing 2 do. Second I believe in god sometimes I do I believe he exists but I'm not a big religious where I go to church every Sunday I don't go at all I've been a couple times but that's it and. Last but not least its still school wow private school its just like public school there really is no difference lets see there is waking up at 6:00 a.m. when I'm still exhausted dreading the day to go to school ecpecially when its a Monday. There is going to school bellwork the teachers (some are real bitches that I would just like to punch in the face) there is classwork and homework oh yeah and I bet the cafeteria food sucks. So to me I diss it because it doesn't make a difference its still school!

This probably sounds really horrible but I HATE private schools and the whole idea of them. Private schools are like bubbles, your all protected then when it pops reality hits you in the face. My cousins go to private school, where there are : no black people, only christian pupils, no boys, and basically lots of rich people. What happens when they get out of private school and are faced with all these life problems that have usually been solved by parents, teachers etc. GET RID OF PRIVATE SCHOOLS!!

I went to private umtil i was in the 4th grade. i 've gone to public school for two years and i luuuuuuuuv it. Its so much drama and the people are real. Public school for life. WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!

I think that 90% of the kids that go to private schools are nerds, geeks, rejects, outcasts anything that you want to call it.And the reason most of them like the uniforms is because they have no sense of fashion. because if you were a great dressers you would hate to where uniforms. i know, i've been to a private school for several years, i'm just happy to be out. oh and half of the kids there are NOT rich, there just there because their nerds and private school is too much for them to handle.(no offense anyone)

Well I'm kind of neutral about it because in public school, you get to wear what ever you want basically. But in private school you have to wear uniforms. Public schools are FREE, and private schools cost MONEY. But yet private schools probably benifit you the most. But see, if you go to a good public school, you'll probably get some kind of benifits from it. Right? Then public schools you kind of have to worry about some things like, sex, drugs,etc.. Private schools, you sort of have to worry about that to but, both type of schools are like the same, its just that in private school you have to wear uniforms. But I go to a public school so, I have more to say but do not think it's alright to say. I prefer PUBLiC SCHOOL!

Plus they are WAAAAAY hot in the beginning and end of school. Then there is the not so obvious, people think that private school kids are these goodygoody preppy rich kids believe me we're not. I personally think girls are more likely to act like skanks cause we are so restricted, and guys are the same no matter what. Yeah some of the kids are really rich but others are just making ends meet. It also all depends on the school your talking about some can be referred to "public schools with uniforms", or you could be talking about practically being in lock down. But it still comes down to the fact that kids who go there are deffinatly resentful of it.

Private schools are only there so parents can tell everyone they're rich enough to afford designer schooling. But in real life, if something doesn't go your way you can't get daddy to phone the principal and demand changes. You learn how to work with people in public schools because you DON'T control everything there; private schools aren't like real life work places.

private schools just cost more money, and private school kids do bad stuff just like public school kids. and what's ironic is that private shcool parents pay for their kids school, but also pay for public shcools through tax dollars. i go to school (at a public school), do sports, hang with friends, and do church things during the week, and then on sunday i have a 2 hour church sermon at my baptist church. So i don't need to go to a private school to learn the same things they're teaching me at my regualar school and at church.

my cousin goes to a catholic school where there are uniforms, (no self expression like regular kids get to do with there clothes)really small classes,(there are only about 300 kids in his entire school, while there are like 750 at mine)and hardley any diversity (and not a lot of private schools do have diversity.) they get put in this little bubble for a long time in there lives and then when the world hits them, who knows what will happen.

ahhh no way
i went to public school my whole life & was forced to "try" private school - went for a month & absolutely hated it i thought it was like a lil sheltered and i didnt feel like i was getting the real high school experience
