Make- up on a redhead?
Im a red head and I have pale skin. My eyelashes are like red too. When I put on black mascara it looks good witrh my hair but hen I put on eye shadow it looks like im a Gothic. ( no offense to the ones that are) My freinds say I look good with light lip gloss and mascara and make- up and I agree. I love it. I use make-up for my own resons.

Yeah...yeah...I wear makeup...or ANOTHER FACE...and what's the big deal?! Hey makeup is okay, unless the girl totally CAKES it on and it looks like a halloween mask! I mean if you take it easy and apply it light it's fine, it's just when the make up is acting as a mask and you're eyeliner is coming out from the sides of your eyes like wings....that you need to take it down a notch! Anyways just some useful advice to those who don't wear makeup....just keep doing that;)

I think that it depends on the person, but for most people, it isn't about covering your face it is about enhancing what you already have. Makeup can really define or change you look.

MakeUp is not unatural.. Boob jobs are unatural.. Nose jobs are unatural.. MakeUp is not unatural. MakeUp just extending your beauty. It IS NOT just for 'ugly' people && to the piss ant who said that up there needs to shut up because YOU probably are ugly && just realized that there is NO HOPE FOR YOU! Even MakeUp couldn't help you. but in my opinion, MakeUp just extends your beauty. There is NOTHING wrong with MakeUp or people who wear it!

I think it adds interest when people where make-up. They can express themselves with it too. Make-up can pull a look together too, you know, make you look more dressed up.

Believe it or not, make up causes more wrinkles. Just put some lipstick or something small on. Dont, PLEASE DONT over do it, b/c those who do look like some freakin clowns!!

You shouldn't have to hide your beauty. I can see if u use a little concealer or something for a pimple. But too much makeup makes u look skanky.

the definition of real beauty seems to have been lost. perhaps , if girls stopped wearing so much makeup, and looked real instead of some plastic figure, we could focus on something else. something more substantial. too much time is wasted on appearing "beautiful", when really all that makeup makes you look worseoff than before. naked faces, authentic beauty, that should be more welcomed, more abundant.

Don't need it
So, you are born with lovely skin...then the second you reach puberty you cover it with chemical goo that risks the health of your skin and gives you spots...not to mention that is responsible for lots of painful deaths through animal testing and costs a fortune - why? It does not even look good, you VERY rarely see anyone looiking good with make-up on, unless it is on TV or in a photo where it is in fact the light tricks making them look good, not the make-up.

Only people with really low self-esteem need to wear make-up, they are so doubting of themselves they are easily brainwashed by sexist girly magazines...there is no reason at all to use make-up.

Make-up is not natural - i.e. it is UNnatural - there is no reason to use it, if you are beautiful there is no reason to pile nasty toxic gunk on your face. Don't overdue it! I wear glasses and my eyes get hidden behind them, eyeshadow is good to enhance my eyes-no mascara, no eye liner...and if you get a pimple just simply use like a cover stick-no foundation needed, it clogs your pores!

TOMBOYS OF THE WORLD UNITE!
One of the reason's I am tomboy and am friends with tomboy's is because they are more brave in my mind set and they know they like not having on making and altering there natural beauty they don't need make up to feel themselves or feel beautiful. I am a steelworker a dominated male proffesion and you know what they like girls just the way they are , you get more respect and look more beautiful if you're dodging past a mirror every ten seconds.
