I think gangs are okay the guy i like is in one and knowing that he could be hurt at any moment makes me like worry but i also know he'd protect me if i needed it.

ok here we go with all this gang stuff! heres what i got to say bout gangs...first of all its nto that im all for gangs or all against them! my uncle was killed because he tried to talk another person out of it becuase he knew what it was like..n yet he was set up n shot! now, i do noe alot of people who are in gangs n everything so ye ai dunno! being in a gang is up to someone..it takes alootta trust n respect to be in a gang..alot! you cant be afraid of anything little..n once your in, your in! but you should noe that if youre in a gang or noe someone who is you noe that someone has your back 24/7..but if your enemie is in a agng you bets to watch your god dayum back!

Well really i wouldn't dig or diss this topic, but some people who need to understand if people are in a gang,usually its for a reason. Alot of kids don't have parents or someone they can turn to, gangs are like ya family. My boyfriend is in a gang and damn near most of MY family. it's unnecessary but maybe to someone else itsz needed. you may feel like itsz a waste of time, but you gotta think about what if there wasn't a person you could turn to, and there were others just like you, but they were in a gang what would you do? Stay by yaself why ya problems eat you away or would you have others around who understand what you going thru?

Gangs are not good. I live right by Detroit. I hang out with a lot of different people. One of my closest friends were a hit man, no joke. Some people I have known, have died from being in gangs.
One time, someone I knew was in a gang. They had this game. With a gun, where they would all sit in a circle. There are a possible of 6 bullets that can fit into a gun. The main gang member put it in there, and closes it. No one knows where the bullet is in there. So they all sat in a circle, pass the gun around and pull the trigger. Everyone but on person will get a blank, but one person will end up killing themselves. It's rough and it's crazy....

I understand the whole "brother" thing between guys and all, but forming a gang where all you base your life on is drugs and violence and stooping so low to steal from other people who work their asses off to provide for their families...that's just fu**** up! I mean come on how SHALLOW is that, I am not saying that ALL gang members are this way...but in all reality we know that's the truth for the most part. Seriously it's really PATHETIC that these "kids" and even adults have no self control and no RESPECT for anyone so they go out and steal from people...how lame is that?! I am just saying that I know being in a gang is like their "family" and all....but come on if you have to steal from other people and hustle all the time...it just doesn't seem worth it in the long run! Hmmm...maybe if they would just go out and get a REAL job and buy their own things...and hmm...I wonder how they would feel if someone STOLE all of their nice things that they worked so hard for, HOW WOULD THEY FEEL?! Okay, unless we're talking the peanut gang, gangs are violent and destructive. the only way to get out of most is to get pregnant or get stabbed. does that sound like a group anyone wants to be associated with? gangs are just bad news and i hate how some media sources candy coat gang life.
