group dates are so much fun! its a lot less nervewrecking when you are with your friends and on a date at the same time you can be less romantic and more fun idk how to explain just group dates are a lot more comfortable

I like them. I've been out on a few, it was fun because we didn't feel so alone and akward. I plan on having my kids group date before they can date alone. I do like being alone with my boyfriend, but sometimes we do like hanging with his friends. (Most of my friends are guys so that's not an option for him, though all his friends are guys...) Plus if you get a large enough group you can get a group rate on some things and everything is less. Some people who are shy won't be so shy because they're with friends. You can still get to know someone because part of being with someone is knowing how they interact in a group they're comfortable with.

going on group dates is pretty much safe.you wont be alone or in danger when you date in groups.also,if your date is not going on well,you ll have your freind to be with and still enjoy provided she doesnt mind.

Well i believe that group dating is not a good idea especially on a first date becasue you want to like get to know that person and just have a alone time. and going on group date can make the date go wrong because sometimes people have differnt ideas of what the perfect date is and when you go out with a alot of people you are going to have to take every opinion in consideration and are going o have to do what they want to do. I believe that it is just better to go out alone and it will b emuch easier to choose were you guys want to go and what you guys want to do and not have to take any ones elses ideas into consideration so i truely believe that it is a bad idea but then againg every one is entitiled to their own personal opinion..

At first maybe...
I think that a group date may be a good way to get to know someone without the "akward silences" and nerves, but after a while, you should be comfortable going out alone with them. If you can't be alone with them, it probably wouldn't work out anyway.
