Sex should be special and is made to be done with someone you love. The way people sleep around these days makes me sick, especially with all these STDs going around. I hate to burst your bubble, but condoms aren't always reliable, and some STDs can be passed from person to person even if you do use a condom. Besides, I'm a Christian, so I'm going to wait till marriage, thank you very much. Wouldn't it be romantic for you to tell the man the marry that you waited all this time, just for him?

It should be special
i totally agree with abstinence. you should wait until you find that right person. i believe that there is that special person for everyone so you should wait. and if you do find that person they will be willing to wait for as long as you want. i practice abstinence and i am proud of it.

I think that doing things with your boyfriend isnt bad but sex is a no-no. Please people, wait until your married ! Im not trying to sound like your pastor or parents or anything like that but I mean, I admit its hard for me .. like REALLY HARD, but when its your first time on your honeymoon night, think of how much more special it would be. I love my boyfriend and he knows that but I am not giving my virginity to him unless we are married. Once your virginity is gone, its gone forever and I think that should only be taken by your husband. God didnt make sex so that we could be with as many people as possible and it not mean much, he made it do join a husband an wife together stronger than anyother realtionship.

Why would you want to have sex with someone when you know that your alls relationship could probably not last. If a guy doesn't respect me enough to wait then he isn't the guy for me.

Abstinance until marriage
Abstinance is very important. God did create woman and man to join together as one in marriage and have sex. Sex is a great and healthy thing but it is meant for marriage. People think that once you have met that one special someone you can have sex with them. That's not true at all. I have met that special someone that I want to be with for the rest of my life but we are going to wait until the wonderful special wedding night cuz we love each other that much to wait probably about 6 more years cuz im just 16. If a guy will do that for you then you know he loves you so much and God has chosen him for you.

I think you should wait cause one it is a sin to have sex befor marriage and why not wait all they want is that and then they are gone and your just going to be labled somthing you do not want me and my boyfriend have been together for 3 an da half years know and i am a freashmen and he is junior and we are both on fire for god and god is our number 1 priority and that should go for you life so dont loose somthing so precious for somthing that is going to last for a couple of minutes and when you could get a stds from it so wait until marriage if you have any questions e-mail me at punkrocker4u15@yahoo.com thanks god bless

Abstinece is a cool thing, but everybody can't hold out! I know I couldn't. I mean if you and the partner you choose are ready, then you are ready. Honestly you are going to have sensations, and temptation is hard to fight. just do you, and "do" who ever you want to, if you take the right precautions.

i think that it is a really silly idea. i mean in this day and agr you can use contraception and stuff. u r not risking a pregancy, or STI's is u use them properly. im not saying that anyone should sleep with everyone. it is a special thing, but that's not to say you cant sleep with someone you love and have been with for a while, as long as it legal and both people want it.

what if you and your future husband dont "match" in bed? sex is an important part of our lifes and i think you have to be sure, that its ok. i wouldnt be very happy if i had a great man for a husband, but we wouldnt get along in bed. who wants to suffer for another 50 years (or as much as your marriage lasts!)
i say, try it before marriage. but not with just anyone and of course, use protection.

See I used to think that It was this HUGE deal and that if I had sex then I was horrible. I was raised with abstinence. But then I met this guy, that i love more than anything in the world. And I didn't want to wait until I got married. I knew the consequences of it (even though a lot of people thought that I didn't) but when you are really in love with someone and you love them back, and you are ready, then you have to make your own decisions. And abstinence is a decision...
