The BEST
Blind dates are the BEST EVER!! It's exciting meeting someone for the first time. So what if you don't know what they look like. Sometimes you're disappointed when you meet them and sometimes you get surprised. I trust my friends on hooking me up and they too, like me, have good taste in men. What are friends for?! haha. I've been on two blind dates with 2 really HOT guys which both turned into long relationships. But internet dating, never meet someone u haven't seen a pic of. And get to know them on the phone for a couple months. No need to rush.

if its a person who nows your taste in guys then its okay.but if its a person who is dating someone that you wouldnt pick out then you would have to think is he/she going to set me up with someone that i dont have anything in common or if they are not as attrictive as you would like. but if you completely trust the person then yeah go for it dont be afraid of anything try it once and if it doesnt work out then you know to find someone yourself.

Double date?
Blind dates are okay if you are going on a double date with a friend. This way, you don't have to worry about the guy being dangerous, or just not your type.

if you do it yourself its your choice but i would think itd suck a$$ if someone does it for you. i find nothing really wrong with it since you get a cance to meet someone new, and its not the same people you hang out with reguarly

I've never been on one. I hear they turn out horribly most of the time, but sometimes they're ok. I guess I'll pick dig because I met my boyfriend pretty blindly. I gave my number to his sister and he called me and we met later at his friend's house.

There's nothing wrong with a blind date, as long as you trust your friend's judgement, and you meet them at a public place. I think it's fun and exciting, and if nothing else, maybe you'll make a new friend.

Blind dates are only ok somtimes. If youre friend has a cousin or a friend she's known for a really long time and thinks you two are perfect for each other, then maybe. But if youre talking about interent dating, or stupid TV shows like Blind Date, or someone your friend just met and knows nothing about, then no. You have to be picky with these sort of things.

Only Way
Blind dates are the only dates i can seem to get my hands on ( and keep, for a little while). Besides my friends know what i like in a guy. Sometimes there akward, at first, but it's easy to loosen up when you know that you may never have to see this person if it doesn't work out. And i find that i'm way less shallow on blind dates, not that i'm shallow. Let's just say i swim in the 10 foot section of a 12 feet deep pool (few poeple are truly swimming at 12 feet anyway).

Now I might not go on 1, I havn't even been on a date. But why not? Imagine this. You're single and looking for a date. You are in co-ed activities and while there are a bunch of guys you'd have as friends, none of them you'd date. Your Friend knows a guy from games club. She wants to set you up with him. You decide to go on a date with him. Now maybe you find that he's not very nice. Maybe he has bad breath. Maybe he's not the date type, but more of the friend type. But who knows? He could be the guy of your dreams. So if your adventurous you could try a blind date.

Could Be Interesting
I think that blind dates are really cool opprotunities to meet new people. Sometimes you might meet someone who you wouldn't normally even look at and really hit it off with them. As long as you meet in a public place I think you'll be fine. Sometimes friends and family, people who know you the best, see someone who they think would suit you. Whether you go out again is your choice. Maybe I'm kind of biased because my parents met on a blind date. I can't say I've ever been on one but if I was single and looking I definitely would.

I agree with blind dates if they are as following: Set up by your close friends with someone they know and trust. My Best Friend and her boyfriend recently set up his best friend and I without telling us. We just went and hung out and got to know each other with a clear intent that we were both single. By the end of the night I had found a great boyfriend in someone who I normally would have never talked to. As long as the scenario is safe, then I say: Go for it!

Blind Dates
They can potentially be dangerous... you could be going out w/ a murderer or a rapist or someone like that! If you do make the decision to go on a blind date, be sure to meet @ a public place. Make sure you can always tell EXACTLY who you're supposed to be meeting. If you pick up the wrong person, things could get confusing and you'll feel like an idiot (that is, IF you realize you met the wrong person). I've never been on a blind date, but I've read about it and don't plan on going on a blind date anytime soon (or at all, really).

Sure it may look fun and mysterious to date someone you dont know, but if your not cautious you can end up really hurt. I wouldnt meet a guy that way. Most guys end up being really trashy and messed up. Girls just become victims. Im not willing to be a victim of someone who cant take control of his life. Unless your lucky and the person ends up being okay. I just cant take the risk.

I think blind dates are for either of the three:
a) desperate ppl
b) ppl who just want fun
c) ppl who just want a hook up
And i think option a and c is pretty dumb.
