One Word. Lolita. Nuff Said. Besides, Vintage fashion promotes modesty, not like some of the skanky stuff thats out today.

I LOVE VINTAGE!!
Vintage is great!!! It gives you a great look and it makes you look like you dressed effortly buh yuu still manage to look very beautiful..I luv vintage

I <3 VINTAGE!
I love buying vintage clothing because it can give you a look that is truly your own and make you look like an individual. Not all vintage clothing is BoHo (that's a common error). Seriously I would hate it if I went somewhere and realized that someone else was wearing exactly what I was wearing...that must suck!

Lotsa fun!
Vintage dresses are so fun and are much better than the run of the mill crap today. I love wearing minidresses from the sixties or puffy dresses from the fifties. It's just so cool, especially paired with ripped fishnets and silver combat boots.

I love the vintage representations of the 1700 dresses. The Poofy ones. I absolutely love any type of vintage & have tons from the 1970's.

Lovely
Thk God vintage is back...we neede those sophisticated looks

Love it!
God it's not all boho... My family is a big bunch of hippies, my mom is the definition of the sixties..so I guess you could say her style and personality rubbed off onto me, because that's what I am now. It's not all "peices of ripped clothing". People like to always make commentary about how "goth" is a life style and choice, well so is being a hippie! It's nothing to be ashamed of, and it just happens to come with a great style! As for vintage, I love it too...I think people should go for what they like. End of story.

they are pretty in an outrageous way
everyone wears spaghetti straps, halters, or strapless with one plain color. vintage dresses have outrageous designs with spicy colors.they do draw attention but only good.

All about the Vintage
I'm all about retro clothing. Vintage cocktail dresses, NATURALLY distressed jeans, shoes, handbags...all of it! So much so I quit my job and made a career out of it with my own online store - www.parkerhawn.com (shameless plug!hee-hee) The styles are classic, individualistic and amazing all at once - just like the chicks who wear them ;)It's great to walk down the street and NOT see every other girl wearing the same clothes you have hanging in your closet. I figure if it's good enough for designers to base their collections on then it's good enough for me to buy the ORIGINAL thing rather than break the bank on buying their interpretation of it.

Vintage Rox!
I love vintage dresses! I like looking for actual vintage ones though, not just the duplicates.

Love vintage!
Vintage clothing can looke cute and unique so you don't look like everyone else. But it depends you don't want a dress that is way out there and screams 80's! They can really let you stand out from everyone else. Oh and as long as they don't smell like vintage, everythings good!

they rock
nothing is more prettier than the classics...especially the 50's! omgosh i love vintage dresses!
--Posted by ohemgosh

They look nice, much prettier than the cheap clothesthey sell these days. They are also made of better material, I would onbly wear them if I could.

--Posted by latourisha

ewwwwww
it was like ok when it was made but that time has like so passed i mean come on we have real style now!!!!
--Posted by miss_mc_92

it's ugly
people only wear it cuz they THINK it's cute.. it's really not.. it's a tacky look that needs to go. those skinny models wear them.. and it looks bad.. what makes you think ur gonna look good in them? it's not the 50's nemore. really.. it's 2006. it's not cute.
--Posted by oochywallawalla

boho
ok, no offense..but the whole boho look just isn't hott, do you really wanna look like you just ripped off a curtain and wrapped it around yourself? i think not! so not cute
--Posted by beachy55

Does that mean that other ppl have worn them? Or just vintage style, or what?
--Posted by southerngirl_05

Hate em..
I think they're ugly, and I'll always think that. I'm not sure why. I mean, do we REALLY wanna go back to the 70's and 80's? I dont think so..
--Posted by xxSuGaRnCrEaMxx

they are ok
Well they are ok. I simply prefer gothic style corset dresses. I designed one once and showed the designed to my friend she got to help me make it. It is quite beautiful. Black and blood red.
--Posted by bloodlust27

Ew!
Um definitely not! i love the new fashions not the old hippie junk! I like Abercrombie's Vintage look but definitely not vintage dresses! um no!
--Posted by dogscheerleader

DEPENDS
It always depends on the idividual dress. some are soooooo gorgeous!! The style can look great. But then there are those that are so yuck. If u ask me Mary-Kate Olsen does a good impression of a bag lady some times. other times she looks elegent it vintage. its how u wear them as well as the style.
