i like up-dos becuz ur hair isnt in ur face. i have kinda long hair and sumtimes dont like to leave it.if its sumthin u dont do often, then updos can be left for the prom

up-do's are actually good for ur hair. combing ur hair up helps it to grow, as long as you dont do it too tight tryna make urself look chinese ;)

they can look really great on sum ppl, they bring out the features in ur face. they dont look gd on everyone though, and sumtimes they look a bit overdone, unless its like a special occasion or sumthing.
i like them on me coz i hav curly hair and it looks pretty on me, but i wudnt wear updos all the time

Up do's R pretty on special events but u have 2 make sure it looks good on u cuz everybody iz different and if it looks good on somebody else it might not look good on u. U have 2 get a really good hair stylist.

I think updos are good for people with long, (though not abnormally long) beautiful necks. I must say, that would be me. And since I have really long hair, there are many updos I can choose from. I really do love them, they are a great way to be creative.

I'm a Black girl and I don't like up-do's. I don't like them on other people because they get it up too high and have loud colors in it which makes it look ghetto. I might look good with an up do but I'm 17 and haven't had one yet. The closet I've been to an up do is when my hair was in a high ponytail. I wouldn't get an up do for prom.

Any guy would tell you, hair down is fun, flirty, and sexy. When you hair is up and held down by buckets of hair spray, your pretty much wearing a helmet. Down is the way to go.

They're ok...
as long as it's all your natural hair...I despise fake hair. Some people are outrageous with it!!! Everyone knows its fake, and they just emphasize it by piling it all on top their heads with glitter and gel.Sometimes its just better to go natural, you know?

Hair dowm styled either in straight locks or curled looks beautiful. Most up dos look pretty but some just look awful. I prefer hair half up or down.

The updo that was forever popular during the late 90's should forever be forgotton. Tacky- and cheap-looking, the heavily gelled, unnaturally sparkly up do's with mountains of fake curls and those two signature strands front should be forever knocked off the fashion 'do' list as a horrible mistake. However, a cute, natural up do (i.e ALexis Bledel in this month's Seventeen) is a decent way to rid your neck of unwanted, swaty hair for a long evening of dancing at the senior prom.
