dreadlocks can look awful, i agree, but if they are regularly twisted and kept in good condition like my dads, they can look fabulous. By the way
'obsessed_manson' locks can start with short hair, its easier that way because my dad only had short hair, and he twisted them into mini ones and now it is longer than mine.

I have dreads in my hair and when you say that there dirty thats kind of hurt people like me feelings.Most of you guys are dumb cause first of all they dont get dirty or messy if you do it right and not olny "black folks" got them.ive seen so white people have them too.

dreadlocks are totally misunderstood..there are different ways to achieve dreadlocks. yes, neglecting your hair is one way which i do find is gross. and you do hafta wash your hair with special shampoo.. and you don't have to shave your head either.. VO5 conditioner works..or leaving about 2 inches of the dreads works as well. the people who are dissing dreads should really learn about dreads before you speak. dreads are totally misunderstood. dreads are a form of art and expressing yourself.. and dreads are part of a religion too..

OMG WHAT EVER dreads are so not in or cool cause lets see if looks like you have washed your hair in like years yeah i know you dont wash your hair when you have them but ummm lets say that is really nasty a person with dreads look like who done it or who the *** would want to do it you look trashy and with no sence of manitance for your self you dont look kept up im sorry but i think you just should not do dreads not even cool oh and by the way your hair smells so bad why would you want something where you cant wash your hair OMG like AS IF ugh w/e im out
