documentaries put the audience in a different perspective of things. They also have raw footage which is interesting to watch. I like documentaries, it really depends on what the documentary is about though. If it's on a boring subject, you'll probably find it boring. If it about something that interests you, you'll probably enjoy it.

Knowledge is power!
I love watching documentaries, they are a great way of learning about a wide range of subjects, and I love expanding my knowledge! I'm a firm believer that knowledge is power, and as a high school senior who is currently doing college applications, I hope my knowledge in a wide range of subjects will give me an edge in whole process!

I love documentaries, as long as they're about something that strikes my interest. Someone in the dis section said that they did enough learning at school, but seriously, at school you're learning about math and english and stuff. would you go and see a documentary about Algebra? I think not.

i lov e documentories they can give you insight on other cultures and other experiences .............it defiently gies you a defferent perspective on things and is very educational and i feel it makes people a little more openminded

I really like documentaries, ones like Grizzly Man and Bowling for Columbine were very well done and you learn something new! (whoa, I sound kind of... nerdy there don't I?)

I love documentarys, especially the one called Grizzly Man, its histarical...even though it comemerates the death of this guy who lived with grizley bears for 13 years and eventually him and his girlfriend got eaten, its hilarious, everyone on it is a crack head!!!!!

Ok. I LOVE doccumentaries, its wierd. But they are like so intresting and so perfect if your really bored. But i dont like them when they are like about nature and stuff i think those are pretty boring. Anyways...

i love michael moore.
i love documentaries, because they are so much more real than hollywood, etc. also, they expose a scandal, take you into the life of someone else, and give you a new perspective..

THEY PROVIDE YOU SO MUCH INFORMATION AND OPEN YOUR EYES TO ALOT OF THINGS. AND TRY TO REVEAL THE TRUTH THAT IS USUALLY HIDDEN BY THE MEDIA.

UGH!!!
i loathe this genre soooo bad! it feels like im watching the discovery channel or something, though some good documentaries like rize are worth the watch, most of them are pretty gay
