Dig it.
This movie rocked. It was better than the first one, even though this one wasen't a musical (yes, the first Charlie and the Chocolate was a musical). I don't get how someone can say Johnny Depp didn't act well in this movie. He was supposed to act stupid and silly. Or, like he says he was trying to act like a children's TV host (haha). I would like to see the people who said Johnny Depp didn't act well play his character better.

ive loved charley in the chocolate factory ever since i was a little kid! and will wonka was H.O.T hot! i guess its because i prefer men with long hair and he REALLY pulled it off!sayonara!

this movie is so good and its even better because i love chocolate.i watched it in english on my birthday last year but we only watched half of it so on the weekend my friends and i watched it again,we swear it was the best movie eva and are still quoteing lines from it,my sweet 16 was truly one to remember and it helps that all my friends and i are true chocoholics and i am definatly going to buy it as soon as it comes onto dvdwe found it really funney and it was way better then the old one because it was updated to suit people our age.if i could,i would go and see it again and again as thats how much i love it

Old One Still Better
Do I love Johnny Depp? Yes. But do I love the old oompa loompas more and the dance numbers? Who can forget that classic moment "I've got a golden ticket" where Grandpa Joe dances about the house in his slippers! Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory is still one of my favorite movies even today.

I love Johnny in this movie
This is just another example of the greatness that is Johnny Depp. He can play so many diverse roles. One day he's a crack addict, another he's a pirate, and then he's a chocolatier who has father issues. Also everyone is complaining about the hair but I like it because it fits the character's personality. Also thought it was really funny and Tim Burton is a genious in my opinion.

when you think of the movies you have to take into concideration that theyre two completely different movies. the first one was altered to be more for children when the second one was made to be more like the original story.

THrought this movies did have so good parts most of it was bad!!!! THe hole thing was toally wired but not in the right way. Tell why you like this movie.
