I like war movies. It kinda shows me what it's really like to be in that position with all the pain they have to cope with whether it be their own or not.

War movies where they just blow everything up and kick everythings ass, I do not like.
War movies where you can see the drama, the emotion, and the absolute PAIN the soldiers must go through, and you gain insight as to how their lives were before, after, and during....those I love. Especially if they have good music during the battle scenes....music can bring about waves of new emotions as to gain insight.

I love them becasue they have action, and they show the real ife thing..or close to it. And tings like Pearl harobr are facts, and the real life hero's shoudnt be forgotten. And also, my step-dad was in the marines-Desert Storm-and after all the stories he has told me, things like Jarhead.and Black Hawk Down should be out because, like i said earlier..they shouldnt be forgotten....and i think they are amazing movies-because believe it or not- without sum of those wars..we wouldnt be the same America..and its not fair to say that war movoies are stupid and things like that because thast saying the people that fight REAL LIFE are stupid /boring /worthless?!?!! so ya...i dig war movies.

Eye-Openers
War movies are a way to understand what soldiers are going through and have went through. War is a very powerful and complex subject and war movies really get you thinking. They usually make me laugh like a hyena but get teary-eyed at the same time and that's a lot like what war is--very bittersweet. War books are even better.

i love them. I'm a big '60's/'70's geek. so, my favorite war movies are veitnam movies. platoon is definatly the best veitnam movie I've ever seen.

I love the war movies like Pearl Harbor, Jarhead, Black Hawk Down, because it shows what they(being our troops) have done for us & continue doing for us now. AND also..i am girly, but something about learning about the military just fasinates me, haha idk why. But i think they are pretty good for the most part.

I loved My Boy Jack
Normally, I can't stand lots of fighting, but I watched this British war film called My Boy Jack (mainly because it has this guy from Harry Potter) and I was blown away by it. It was great! I highly recomend it.

we need it
Lots of war movies coming out now are reminding us or teaching us of battles we never knew about and I think that is spectacular. It also tends to give the base for a very good story, and I think most try to remind us how horrible it was for those that were there and how horrible it will be if we forget and let it happen again. You can't just ignore these things and run to comedy all your life.

I love them
I absolutely love war movies. I'm into History, so I love movies that have anything to do with history and that includes war movies. I know that war movies are really graphic, but the reason why I feel that they are like that is because, well, war is very gruesome. My grandad was a vet of WW2 and my grandma said that he would wake up screaming and crying in the middle of the night because he was having war dreams. What I'm getting at is that war is a nasty part of history and the directors try to make an effort to make those of us who have never been apart of it to understand what it was like. I'm sure it was far worse than what we see in the movies.

War Movies
I think that war movies are amazing. They're so powerful and intense. I believe that they open up eyes to what they refuse to see and believe. A soldier's pain, their fight for their country. Of course people like war protesters don't want to see these kinds of movies. They show what's really there, as compared to the protesters who want to ignore what those soldiers are fighting for. Also, for people to talk about all the violence, I could turn on the TV and see more violence than is in war movies. Give me a break. Violence is everywhere these days. I think these movies are some of the best kind around.

So bad!! Why waste a movie that can be good with negative criteria happening! Adventure movies with shooting aren't bad but a whole movie based on war is so pointless.
