yup, i like moshing...i first did so at a River City Rebels show 8 days ago...it was awesome...guitarist hugged me twice and lead singer patted me on the head. i'm still in a bit of a daze but at least my elbow isn't fractured...oh damn, it is...never mind...still awesom though.

That's one of the best things at a concert! When you don't jump around and mosh it seems a bit emo, haha. And No I don't like getting beat up on the street, but that's not what moshing is. It's just randomly beating people up.

when i went to an all american rejects concert on Nov. 15th, there was a mosh pit right next to me, they kncked me down and i concked my head on the floor, and lemme tell ya the Electric Factory's floot aint the prettiest haha but i still had a blast

mosh pits have got the be the stupidest thing ever. by the time the concert is over you've blacked out twice, have a broken nose, and bruises all over your body...congratulations, you misssed the whole concert.

i hate mosh pits..i hate most things in general and this is just another thing to add to my list lol. i mean...i hate just standing there waiting for a band to come on and seeing a bunch of dumbasses start RUSHING the people already standing up my ass back towards one side...it's annoying...i've participated in a mosh pit once to only punch someone in the face. lol.

not for me
personally, i go to a show/gig/live music.. to see a band play because i love them/their lyrics, music etc, i want to watch eth band play, appriectate the time and effort they've put into givign me (and many oterhs) that song... people forming a mosh pit, usually ruins it form me. i don't really care because i know to expect it, but personally, i prefer just being in a crowd of anythign from 100 to 60,000 people getting crushed, sweating and screaming alogn to the lyrics at teh top of your voice.

i think they are out of hand now.... they used to be fine for the boys... but they are so scary now and people get really hurt.

I hate mosh pits. I used to go in them a few years ago when I was younger, like 13/14.. but just grew out of it I guess. I don't really understand how you can properly enjoy and focus on the music when you have to pay more attention to not falling over or whatever. I mean granted don't just stand there while the band's playing, but concerts I go to now people are happy to just dance and sing along with the songs. I find it's much better as I get sick of people starting moshpits when they are being so inconsiderate to people nearby who do not want to be involved in them.

Well...
It's not like I'm dissing moshers and all but when I went to my first concert, one mosher got out of the mosh pit and ran right into me.SEVERAL TIMES! Everyone that was just trying to enjoy the music got plummeted. Damn, even some of the people behind me helped me try not to get hurt. I thought I was going to get knocked out. The guy was football player-sized!He was probably 5'8 and I was only 5'5 at the time!
Mosh pits can be deadly, I must say. My friend thinks they are awesome, but she wasn't the one who could have gotten knocked out.

Come on, mosh pits are just dangerous, a couple of girls from my school have been hurt in them but they just keep going back. People who say that they are into moshing because they want to be individual and aren't into any peer pressure are being silly, because they all just look the same, listen to the same music and do the same stuff and of course they still have pressure - one being to go to mosh pits!

I've been in a mosh pit once. A bunch of sweaty bodies slamming into you - how can that be fun? It certainly wasn't for me. It felt extremely awkward.
