Listen to it.. It has meaning to it!
Okay I am in love with 50 cent.. ya he says he is a gangster and shoots peeps and all that crap but overall it is good music. I really love Kanye West!! He totally makes his raps meaning full and smooth. Yes I also listen to pop with my cheerleading pals, reggae cuz I am carribean and other stuff. If you looked in my dresser you would probably find every modern rap cd. Although I am a complete fan of rap (not the scary rap when they talk about blood and shooting guns every day) I do listen to Green day, Maroon 5, Chemical Romance (sometimes) and other stuff.. even though I don't have any of there cds I do like to listen to em on MTV and VH1. Please, not all rap falls into the bloody, gang-ish, and just plain violent rap genre.

I like listening to certine types of rap
Like missy elliot, Trina (sometimes),Kelly (from B5) Lil Wanye Twista And all the others that Raps about things that matter not like raping about Hoes or your b***** But other then that Raps is all right. And to all of you gurls that just hate raping compplete because you think it's all the same well it's not so get it stright. and there is nothing wrong with enimen!

rap was started with a meaning and developed into what it is 2day. it has meaning and not all of it is about shooting people or starting rap wars, like eminem. his song mockingbird is about his daughter and that is not violent so i tyhink rap music is good.

I really hate some rap cuz it degrades women but women do the same now days! its hot! rap is friggin meaningful. I love the artists that rap who don't act like rap is the only music out there. i like rap music if it has quality. i like some of the older eminem, limp bizkit, and linkin park. eminem is a lyrical genious, i will admit. but 50 cent and all those "gangstas" need to shut the *** up. all they do is encourage girls to shake their booty and be looked at as objects. i don't know about you, but i think they have a few insecurities. they make up all these "macho" lyrics like they're so awesome. you know what? quality is awesome. "gangstas" aren't.

Why Bother?
The music sucks, it talks about the same in each song,sex, sex, and more sex. What's the point wow mixing beats and conversation together. I'm amazed because no one at my school can dance correctly to the music therefore I don't go to dances,next one I'll go to will be me Jr. prom. I'll make a fool out of myself.
