Thery are cool
To me the Beatles songs are a lot better than todays music. They are not a pop band as many people think , they are rock and roll.

i like the beatles. i don't care what everyone else says. they're a hell of a lot better than elvis. he didn't even write his own songs. and most people don't like them cause of their early stuff, which i'll admit, is pretty much only a bunch of pop love songs, but i like them anyway. they changed music forever, along with others. but if it weren't for john lennon, there may not be distortion. or if it weren't for ringo, there may not be silencers for drumsets, and different kinds of things for drums that i don't know the name of. and yeh, silencers aren't that great cause it drowns out the noise, but if it weren't for them, my parents wouldn't even have let me gotten a drumset. also if it weren't for the beatles, there wouldn't be some of the bands around today, or some other awesome older bands.

no nirvana...
the beatles are awesome. they performed some of the best songs ever written. sure, lots of people only liked them then because they were the first pop group to be kids playing for kids. they didn't really feel fulfilled because they couldn't even hear their own shows for all the screaming. there'd be no nirvana without them, considering they were one of kurt cobain's main influences. greatness influences greatness. the beatles cannot be overrated. they're right up there with led zepplin and pink floyd. sheer genious.

The beatles...it's hard for me to finish that sentence, because so many things come to mind. I love the beatles. They are such a huge inspiration to me and I know they were to other bands such as Nirvana. So if you dislike the beatles don't go around saying crap about them, because if you don't listen to the beatles and you don't know anything about what they were about, you don't have the right.

i love the beatles, so, so much. almost everything they put out....oh, especially the White Album, and Abbey Road... how could one band encompass so many genres and express so many emotions? Don't Let Me Down is my all-time favourite, but i could name off a bajillion that i love. While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Strawberry Fields, Hey Jude, A Day in the Life, She's So heavy. I know it's a matter of personal opinion and all that, but i think people who don't like The beatles just have no idea... a girl said to me, "they're crap, i hate them", but she could name one song, that was it. it's not like they have just one sound. i know people love kelly clarkson and DCFC so much it hurts, and that's how i feel about the beatles, and i think they've had the power to make you love them more than any other band, ever.

The Beatles are geniuses... I don't like Ringo Starr so much (no talent whatsoever...) They do great harmonies and you can't keep yourself from singing along. Why would they last so darn long if they weren't good? PS. The Beatles are so not overrated... GREEN DAY and all those other "poppy punktards" are...

If you hate The Beatles you hate music.
OK I'm not telling you to worship them, just listen to them and understand what they did for music. Understand that Beatles changed music- and the world forever.
Most of you guys on here are American so maybe you don't know Oasis (or if you do think they suck) but every good song they ever made was a rip off of a Beatles song.

The Beatles
Alright. I know its like some rule to love the Beatls and all and I guess I do. But I don't think they are really as great for all of the hype they get. The BEatles were a pop group and listen to their music many songs sound the same. None-the-less, many of their songs were groundbreaking and I still adore much of their music. But honestly, more of the Beatles attention should be given to other artists who deserve it just as much it not more like Sam Cooke, who suffered a tragic death but still changed the music world forever. I doubt anyone is reading this but I'm just as glad to post it anyways.

Well....
I used to be the biggest Beatles fan ever, I mean don't get me wrong they did a lot for music. But their lyrics are pretty eh...thier early stuff was pretty much all about love and girls and then their later stuff was basically a bunch of cool sounding phrases they just jumbbled together hoping they were so out there that people would find them profound and other worldly. So yeah, I turned my back on them because I realized that they weren't as great as I thought they were.

I don't know what the big deal is. Sure, they had GOOD songs but people are going completley apesh*it when you mention the word 'Beatles' around them. They weren't very revolutionary during the time they came out, they didn't sound much diffrent, the lyrics were simple and predictable...good band. But nothing to idolize.
