Metal kicks ass
I love metal. Diffrent genres of metal too. Nu-metal, glam metal, death metal, heavy metal. They're all good. They're not all devil worshippers. Yes, its true that some artists refer to Satan for song ideas. But they're not devil worshippers.
Take a good long listen to some Marilyn Masnon, Cannibal Corspe, Murderdolls and some Wednesday 13, Metallica, Dimmu Borigr, Goatwhore. Take a good hard listen. You'll see.

Heavy metal I think is a way of getting out your emotions, not only by writing lyrics, but you also get to scream -lol- and I know thats one way that I relieve my stress or whatever

Society is a rap loving nation. Societies cult members told everyone that heavy metal was bad.People who listen to rap are just people who can't find themselves.Heavy metal can be a little "death threatening"but thats why its cool. You can express sucide and homicide in artistic way and its not like your going to go out and kill somebody!I love screaming lirics and loud guitar music. You can't understand what on earth the lead "singer" if you'd like to call him/her is even trying to say. Now, don't get me wrong. I love drums, guitars, keyboards and singing... but all of it combined like "heavy metal" if you'd like to call it, has no class, no real emotion (except maybe anger?) and it not organized very well... it gives me a headache just attempting to listen fully to ONE "song" if you will. :)

I love rock music, but I hate HEAVY metal. I don't understand how they could classify "screaming and squealing" as a (frequently used) music genre. I suppose the instrumental parts are okay, but I enjoy to hear more than *SCREAAAAAM* when listening to music. Actually, I should probably consider a career as a heavy metal performer. All I need is a drummer, a guitarist, a bassist, a cat, and a meat grinder. Muahaha. I'm prepared to make millions!

i can't hear the music over the screaming.
In SOME of the songs where i can actually hear the music, i like it to some extent. I'm into "screamo" but this is just too much screaming for me. I can't understand one word that is being said/sung/screamed. Somehow it just doesn't seem very musical to me...
