what do you think of the documentary, "fahrenheit 9/11"?

courtesy lions gate films, copyright 2004

What controversy? This controversy: Michael Moore's new film about the Bush Administration's war on terrorism has struck a national nerve. Critics call the film "bad propaganda." Fans call it a "stunning polemic." Moore himself has been accused of being "overbearing", "obnoxious" and "unpatriotic." Where do you stand on the issue? Does Moore tell it like it is, or does he manipulate the facts to make his point? Does it matter?

    Can you believe this guy?
Umm, isn't he the same guy that said he'd move out of the country if Bush was elected? And whaddya know, we're still stuck with him. Go figure. And where is he getting his facts? They're far from primary sources. At least in the response to this, they actually show interviews with people you can believe. It's not just Bush standing up there going,"Michael Moore is wrong." There's actually REAL support for their side of the story. Plus, what was Bush supposed to do? Jump up and say to the LITTLE KIDS,"Someone has just attacked our nation and YOU COULD BE NEXT!!!!"? Honestly, he handled the situation calmly and gathered his thought. Oh, and a quick F.Y.I.-He wasn't reading his book upside down. Michael Moore was wrong. The teacher that was with Bush said it was right-side up. And she said she didn't even vote for him, and she admired how he handled everything.

    Are you sure he's right?
How do you guys know they're ACTUAL facts? To be honest, I hate Michael Moore, but I'm trying to put that aside for this. Did you guys research it to make sure it's true? Did you study it thoroughly? Or did you just watch the movie and assume he's telling the truth? Lying in the media is very common these days. By the way, I also don't like Bush, but I'm not going to believe everything that's been said about him. I would do my own personal research and use my own logic before I trust a film director, who is making millions of dollars off of the film and the controversy it causes. By the way, if you believe he's right, thats cool, but I'm just trying to get people to research things for themselves rather than assume Moore is correct.
