...On the upper left, I wrote down all the scenes that were being shot on location. (We did a whole other scene inside the studio for the shots inside the car.) On the middle left, I blocked out the camera angles. On the bottom left, I reminded myself of the most important thing that needed to be communicated in the scene--that Lana's look is the reason Brandon decides to race. The notes on the right have to do with the characters' actions. The screenplay contains the dialogue but it's the actions that give the dialogue a particular meaning.
