Today it seems like everyone has a tattoo--or at least knows someone with a tattoo. But where did this fascination with body art begin? And what does it all mean?

Let's just say that all over the world cultures have communicated through the tattoo. An art that shares a history from Ancient Aztecs to Yakuza gang members, the tattoo can be as simple as a few lines or as complex as full body suits.
