Dairy products include milk, cheese, yogurt and desserts made from milk like pudding, frozen yogurt and ice cream. Everybody knows that milk contains calcium but it also has vitamin D to improve calcium absorption. The key with dairy products is to choose fat-free whenever possible. That's because the fat in milk is saturated; the kind that clogs up your arteries and contributes to heart disease.

Like many people, you might be too busy in the morning to think about breakfast. Try grabbing a yogurt pack (I like the kind that comes with crushed Oreo cookies to mix in!), and if you have an extra 22 seconds, throw some berries or almonds into the yogurt. Instant nutrition!
