SO YOU GOT YOUR FIRST GIG!
1. What to wear:
It's good to have a common theme. It can be as simple as a shared color or as elaborate as a uniform. Wear what you're comfortable in and something that will make you feel confident. Of course, it should match your musical genre. (i.e., play punk music? dress punk, with a studded belt and wrist cuffs, etc.)
2. Chill out.
I remember our first gig; we were nervous wrecks. We made lots of mistakes, but we had a great time. Our music wasn't very good yet, but our friends and family and the crowd who didn't even know us was really supportive and it inspired us to keep playing together, which is the entire point. The Donna's started off playing together for a school talent show, and look at them now! Keep at it and rock on!
