
Harmony: an orderly arrangement of vocal parts, as in a barbershop quartet (Remember Homer Simpson and the Be Sharps?)
Larynx: where the vocal chords are located, at the upper part of the trachea
Melody: the principal part in a harmonic composition; the main part of a song
Note: a sign or character used to represent a tone; its position and form indicates the pitch and duration of the tone
Pitch: the sound of a particular note; if you're on pitch, you're singing in tune
Pharynx: the tube that connects the mouth and nasal passages with the esophagus
