Article Image Is it wrong?
Depends on who you ask. Some people oppose the creation and consumption of pornography for moral, religious or societal reasons. Others believe it is natural and in no way shameful to be aroused by sexually provocative materials created by and for adults.

Since the porn industry currently caters towards men much more than to women, many feminists have taken a stand on the issue of pornography. Some feminists, such as Catherine A. MacKinnon, condemn pornography on the grounds that it enables men to objectify women and view them as "sex objects." Others such as Avedon Carol, a member of Feminists for Free Expression, disagree. She argues that there is nothing wrong with sexually stimulating materials as long as both men and women have equal opportunity to be either viewer or subject.
