Many countries have taken measures to fight trafficking all over the world. In America, trafficking is a federal crime, though specific laws vary state to state. Also, products made by slave labor are increasingly being identified and refused access into the country or boycotted (for example, carpets made in India by child slaves).
Other countries have similar laws in place. They're also working to grant trafficking victims refugee status. However, several countries have no laws against human trafficking--for example, Saudi Arabia, Sudan or Syria.
